Ser Alfred Haigh wrote:Thats the plan, Im just marvelling at the convenient timing of this occurring when all my financial reserves are stretched thin and I am in no position to do much about that. Most liekly I will have to use Univeristy libraries for the time being, making me dependent on their opening times. We will see how that goes. At least 2016 stays true to itself in being a bitch, lets hope 2017 will be kinder and less annoying.
Here here. Apart from my wedding/niece being born, 2016 has been tough (massive home repair). Professional life ok, but still two months for equity markets to go horribly wrong/underperform on a relative basis.
Roll on 2017.

I should be a fairly capable step-in for jousting/combat stuff if needed.

So my dad looked at the clock, saw that the electric stuff store is still open for 45 Minutes... So we drove off and I got a nerw laptop.
Some days are just full of surprises...
Problem solved.

Re: AFK thread
Grand news on Ser Alfred's new computer!
I'm back at work this work (inlcluding Monday) so posting and PM replies will be a little slower than normal. Stepstone objectives, event schedule and event 1 going up this week hopefully, along with dates for two week "
soft open"
for story 3, maybe even this weekend.

As much as I am looking forward to story 3, don't we still have a lot of off-season 2 to resolve?

Yes. My plan is very tentative, and as much a spur for myself as anything.

An overlap with Story 3's soft open and finishing off Wyl is bearable too, will see where we are.
Off to sleep now all!

Re: AFK thread
IC posts and various other things tomorrow hopefully. Lots of book keeping, PMs etc today, including two new PCs set up with forums etc for House Tullison. Character submissions almost finished.
Sorry I didn't get more done today, finished work very late.

Re: AFK thread
Good news: AFK page was on p2 of "
my posts"
, always a good sign for productivity and general activity from others!
Bad news: my wedding photo books finally came, so wife and I spent the evening looking at them.
Lots of posting, combat resolving, a finishing touch to Ser Jorah's ascension thread (to finish the ominous post from months ago) and house objectives over the weekend.

Re: AFK thread
Bonkers busy week - two days of conference presentations Thursday/Friday and prepping earlier in the week. Then Winter Ball on Friday (in November?!).
Weekend hopefully better for posting, but limited during the week, sorry all.

Thanks. I've been talking with supportive people and that's helping. I'm still trying to check in regularly and reply to stuff, but I wanted to make folks aware, just in case I'm quiet for a bit.

38.33, for those of you using a measurement scale based on science and numerical simplicity.
Hope you feel better soon, Arlyn.

Of all the things wrong with America, their measurements is probably not on the list of horrible things.
