Re: House Fortunes
So if your head of house is an NPC do you roll their status or your character's status. If it's there's can I get the status and such of Lord Dulver?

Re: House Fortunes
This is a bit of a collaborative effort, so I'm going to be posting it in chunks... starting with mechanics, will add narrative later.
Month 1:
Baelon invests 1 glory into Power.
Gwyn rolls House Fortune: : 5d6k4+3 20 Blessing : 1d3+1 4
Gwyn invests 2 glory into Wealth.
House Action: : 1d6 5 months.
In Progress: Maester (1/5)
Shortly after arriving in their new home, things were off to a grand start for the newlywed couple. Baelon's name and performance in the tourney had attracted several skilled hedge knights and lesser sons to join his fledgling house. Good fortune and skilled management also worked together to increase House Drakeson's revenue, as Gwyn arranged a new distribution arrangement and a new, large deposit was found in the mine. With Baelon's somewhat reluctant blessing, Gwyn secured permission from the Citadel for Maester Leopold to be officially assigned to House Drakeson - or rather, Caladan Hall. He had obligations in Gulltown that would keep him there for the better part of half a year, but then would join them.
Month 2:
Gwyn rolls House Fortune: : 5d6k4+3 23
Due to HfN ruling after the roll was made, Gwyn elects not to use HfN, making this 20, Blessing for : 1d3+1 2
Gwyn &
Baelon each invest 4 for glory for +8 Wealth.
House Action: : 3d6 14 months.
In Progress: Maester (2/5), Port (1/14)
In their second month, a Lorathi ship carrying cargo bound for Riverrun anchored nearby after having been blow off course and lightly damaged by a storm. Hosting the captain for dinner, Gwyn managed to convince him that it would be better to unload the cargo there and transport it overland to RIverrun rather than return to sea in a damaged vessel to sail to Maidenpool through waters potentially full of Braavosi pirates and privateers from the Stepstones. Indeed, for a small commission, transport was arranged so that the captain could return to Lorath on schedule for his daughter's nameday. Realizing that this could be the first of many such transactions, Gwyn and Baelon both called in a multitude of favors to start construction on a port to capitalize on the potential of their location.
Month 3:
Baelon rolls House Fortune:: 3d6+2 8 Growth: +1 Lands
House Action: none
In Progress: Maester (3/5), Port (2/14)
With Gwyn gone to Riverrun to attend to some personal business, Baelon took the reigns of managing House Drakeson's finances. Recognizing that the port would mean an influx of travelers, Baelon set the locals to work improving the small hamlet's infrastructure in anticipation of increased demand.

Month 1
: 4d6k3+4 21

Start building Tolls : 1d6 6 (F**&
"

Buildings: Tolls: 1/6
Buoyed by their strong showing at the Tournament, House Coldbrook returns with Daveth being more willing to throw his weight around regarding the direction of the house's development. Gaining his father's approval for an intense period of development for their long-suffering economy, Daveth begins his efforts to shape the house towards his vision of the future.
Month 2
: 4d6k3+4 18
Blessing: Wealth increased by 1 + 1 = 2
: 1d7 3 +1 to Lands
7 Glory spent to increase Wealth, Charcoal Estate
: 2d6+6 14
Buildings: Tolls: 2/6;
Charcoal estate: 1/14
The rapprochement accomplished towards House Darry had further benefits than those immediately negotiated. With the surrender of some disputed Coldbrook land to the Darrys came the opportunity to clarify the borders elsewhere between their lands, resulting in some land that was previously not safely usable by either side falling reliably on the Coldbrook side. Meanwhile, Daveth's economic revitalisation continues.
Month 3
No roll, due to lack of Daveth, +1 to defence instead
Start upgrading Small castle to Castle (24 months)
Buildings: Tolls: 3/6;
Charcoal estate: 2/14;
Castle upgrade 1/24
With Daveth gone on his diplomatic mission, development slowed, but the long-delayed upgrade of Castle Grenward finally began.

Head of House is only +2, but so is Anointed so it turns out the same (I'm glad you saw that Anointed added to Status tests as well, I had not realized that).Dunstan Tullison wrote:OOC: Rolling 5d6k4 because we lost influence. +7 is from our House resources, and +3 from Head of House, +1 from Annointed.

Re: House Fortunes
I have just received confirmation that I'm not being horribly murderised while at/returning from Tullison lands, so I'm now doing months 4-6.
Month 4
No roll, due to lack of Daveth, +1 to influence instead
Buildings: Tolls: 4/6;
Charcoal estate: 3/14;
Castle upgrade 2/24
Daveth's successful mission of mercy raises House Coldbrook's status a bit among the more honourable houses. Both of them.
Month 5
: 4d6k3+4 15 Growth
Growth for Wealth: 1 + 1 = 2 wealth gained
Buildings: Tolls: 5/6;
Charcoal estate: 4/14;
Castle upgrade 3/24
On Daveth's return, he resumed building up the Coldbrook economy - no great advances, but a solid month.
Month 6
: 4d6k3+4 21 Growth
Screw it. Spending a DP to take bonus die as test die, taking me to 24, adding +4 bonus from Head for Numbers, end result of 28 - Boon.
Growth for Wealth: : 1d3 3 + 1 = 4 wealth gained. (Woo!)
: 1d7 5 Population gain
: 1d3 3 Double Woo!
Start building Food Agriculture: : 1d6+3 7
Buildings: Tolls: 6/6;
Food Agriculture estate: 1/7;
Charcoal estate: 5/14;
Castle upgrade 4/24;
(Now, that was a well-spent DP!)
It was looking to be a relatively ordinary month, when fortune smiled on Daveth. Word of his 'miraculous' healing of Lady Moraine Tullison had spread to the smallfolk, and, combined with the spreading of the song about Ser Jorah, a fair few workers and particularly farmers, sick of the perceived cruelty of their lords decided that the gods must be smiling on House Coldbrook and migrated to their lands. Daveth wasted no time in integrating these new arrivals into the economy, and started massively developing their agriculture. Armies marched on their stomachs, after all, and Daveth was determined to be prepared.

Month 4
Baelon rolls: : 4d6+2 17 Forgot to take into account the war Law loss;
-5 for 12 - Boon
: 1d3 3 1d6 4 1d3 3 +3 Law, +3 Pop
Baelon donates 3 Glory into Lands.
House Action: Begin Projects - Upgrade Hamlet to Small Town.
In Progress: Maester (4/5), Port (3/14)
As word of the pirate attack and subsequent trouncing spreads, the bandits on the fringes of House Drakeson territory withdraw for fear of facing such overwhelming force. Additionally, as word spreads of the new development in the area new families and tradesmen of all types begin to arrive and settle, swelling the small hamlet of miners and subsistence fisherfolk into a lively small town.
Month 5
Gwyn rolls: : 5d6k4+4 24, forgoes HfN bonus for 20 - Blessing
Wealth: : 2#1d3+1 3
House Action: Begin Projects - Begin Marketplace. Build time: : 1d6 6 (can't win them all)
In Progress: Maester (completes), Port (4/14), Marketplace (1/6)
Gwyn's efforts in Riverrun begin to pay off, bolstered by the rumors and reports of a resounding defeat of the massive raid, demonstrating that Drakeson is capable of defending its interests. Expanded markets bring more foreign money into the hamlet (which needs a name) and into the coffers of House Drakeson, and word of mouth is good. The product of the mines, underutilized for so long, is of good quality.
Month 6
Gwyn rolls: : 5d6k4+7 18 - Blessing
Wealth: : 2#1d3+1 3
House Action: Spend1 Wealth for armor upgrade for Baelon's Bloodriders [Elite archer/cavalry/personal guard]
In Progress: Port (5/14), Marketplace (2/6)
Preparations for Maester Leopold are completed, and he's presented with a small but serviceable library and a study suitable for his use. Gwyn immediately puts him to work with the mine overseer, applying the knowledge of the Citadel to the minerals of the mountains and guiding Haldan's efforts with exploratory digging. Though initially skeptical, his doubts are allayed when Leopold's advice leads to yet another rich discovery of ore. Furthermore, the influx of population starting to settle gives him ample hands to hire on to exploit the new find.
EDIT: added month 6 house action.

Months 10-12 can be submitted for house fortunes.
Outrageously for a PbP we're going to see at least some more projects completed! The Coldbrook infrastructure boom continues under Daveth's watchful eye.
