She thinks she is open-minded, but she is as prejudiced as anyone. Not on race, gender, or sexual orientation, but on legitimacy.
I think it's cool though. Very in-character.
A pity Gwyn isn't involved in that. She'd offer to foster the boy. No bastard prejudice in our household.
I'm glad someone gets it. She's not meant to be consistent. She has flaws like anyone else.

She doesn't hate bastards themselves. She considers their parents to be at fault, not them. But she believes that an illegitimate family isn't a real family. Yes, it's an unfair prejudice by our standards, but she shouldn't be perfect.

Oh, my comment was only disparaging of it as an IC matter. OOC I think it is a great character choice - I also love how Corrine projects her own wandering eye onto Ben. So unfair, but so realistic.

Yeah, she's not as good or as smart as she thinks she is.
I've updated my character bio, but I'm not totally happy with it. May tweak more later.

To be fair, sending Marei away was Theo's proposal at first.

Yes, but it resounded for her. She was already somewhat concerned about it. Theo just sort of gave her the direction she needed.
Consider it a win for Theo that he got Corrine to agree with him and carry out his suggestion. He's winning her back over from her distaste.

Oh, Theo doesn't mind if Corrine takes all the credit (and the direction of Dunstan's frustration), and liking him all the more for it

Regarding the new Peackeepers event and specifically the personal combat options, would these be duels essentially or could we use appropriate stealth/track checks to locate an opponent? The phrasing of hunt down made me think the latter would be the case but wanted to check.

Duels, but I'm sure I could be convinced to let our stealthier PCs start at range if they passed some rolls.
You'll still get a random opponent, in part because selecting opponents means waiting for everyone to roll then select opponents. I considered opposed Warfare checks, highest score picks first. I rejected this idea as impractical, as cool as it would be.

Can we use our bonus dice on the event? And I've seen others use co ordinate, is that ban just for me then?

Yoren - appreciate the sentiment, but there's a lot going on and I'm always open to debate on rules stuff.

Septon: favoured of smallfolk will trigger on the Persuasion roll. If you flub the roll we can only assume that refugees (unsurprisingly) don't look kindly on well fed Septons.

Assuming you mean from the 'Calling first...' threads, they specifically say they're for future *investigations*, so I assume not.Yoren longshore wrote:Can we use our bonus dice on the event?

Re: Game Discussion
Yikes, between Gwyn's roll and Ser Kevan's in another thread it seems Orokos is having a fit. At least both partially saved things with rerolls.

I can't complain after Day 2, but the newly arrived Dulver warrior's first attack roll was also a thing of beauty!
