Re: Awesome moments in Dragons Dance
That's new. I thought his little caper as the Stranger was a good cover mixed with a hankering for a jape. It's a perspective I've never thought of, well done for that.

Certainly in 'Visit from the Stranger', Nathan was intending to instill fear into Hubert to propel him to do the right thing. (You will note that the money he extorted went to charity and not to him.)
I have dropped hints along the way from a very early stage, but I did not want his faith to be overt.

His faith is another reason why he poured so much time, effort and money into dealing with the dead of Blackbuckle.
However, he prays to the Father about as much as most other people pray to the Stranger.

Management asked about PC religious views and tolerance for a reason folks, glad to see it show up not just in Nathaniep but a host of other places. It's marked in Nathaniep precisely because people might not expect it in this kind of character, helps make him feel part of Westros. Good work to him and others.

Not long. I will entrust her to the nearby sept for a few days, with guards, so she may have the peace and respite she needs and the solace of the Seven, while still being safe from potential followers of Red Doro that may yet be at large. Then, she shall be escorted home. I intend to let Lord Daleford know that she has been found and is safe, once I have a moment to do so. I'm sure you can understand that I have not had the opportunity yet. The situation developed swiftly. I take it from your presence that the matter of mopping up the stragglers has been handled?"
Lady Corrine Marsten wrote:"
That is kind of you to offer. Thank you,"
Corrine replied with a slight bob of her head in assent. "
There are many calls on my attention, as I am sure you can see, so I shall not object to you making contact with his Lordship. As for the rest, she has said very little, and has not mentioned any further accomplices. I would expect she would have let us know if there were others she knew of. I will gently check with her after she wakes, but we likely have been fortunate the man did not have too many friends, for Lily's same even moreso,"
Corrine added, with a sorrowful tone.
Smooth. Very smooth. The Lady of House Marsten can certainly politic when she wants to.

Thanks. Nathan has been a good influence. Or a bad one, depending on who one asks. :;

Narrator's emphasis. A point worth exploring. :;

I think it may be either a lack of regard for how he may be judged, dad issues, or both.

I want to see an intrigue set up that includes:
Goal: discover Nathaniel's issues with paternal authority
[Would Nathaniel be able to answer, even if you won? :? ]

I will say nothing so as not to be an accomplice to Reader's already deeply conniving nature.

Re: Awesome moments in Dragons Dance
Good example of roleplaying rather than roll playing form Walton - taking the injury because his character would do the badass thing rather than waiting for a pathetic maester or septon!

Thanks! Walton has a lot of class :;

But which penalties will move to battle scene? Wound and Injury, I guess, but what about fatigue? Assault will take place straight away or do we have moment to take a breather? Because even with wound and injury (but without fatigue penalties), Walton is still Terror from Westerands for most opponents

Re: Awesome moments in Dragons Dance
Once you gain fatigue, it goes away on its own. For every four hours you rest, you remove one point of fatigue. (pg175)
Since there is a riot going on, I don't think you have four hours to kick up your heals...
but Walton is a bad ass... so bruised, bleeding and exhausted just adds to the allure.

By far the best event we've had so far...round of applause.
Now to see about doing an event that plays to all of Theo's strengths and vices justice.

I would change plans and go, but there are a million things at that party that could get me in hot water or get me thrown out. Bravo for setting it up, I wish I could go!

I appreciate that. I worked very hard on the mechanics of it.
I tried to make it as broad ranging (skill wise) as possible while attempting some realism and still keeping it within the theme.

Indeed. But offer Theo an event where he gets to put his deception dices to good use, learn tonnes of secrets and on top of it offer a VP if he makes a seduction test...
End result, Theo does what he must, and enjoys it way too much. Almost made it a year of staying true to Floreta.

Well, with taking extra time and spending 10GP on tailoring, I'm pretty sure that what she doesn't know won't hurt her.

The Seven will know, Ser.
Mushroom has a keen eye too despite his eccentricities, let's see where it settles.
Thumbs up to Nathaniel for a super event and to many PCs for taking part in the name of an interesting story, despite the better judgement of their players!
