Well, with taking extra time and spending 10GP on tailoring, I'm pretty sure that what she doesn't know won't hurt her.

Maybe the debauch should come with a risk of disease. Seems appropriate and would apply equally to all characters, unlike the risk of pregnancy. Then of course, what Floreta doesn't know could indeed hurt her very much.

Baelon is being a model husband and not attending. Such debauchery no longer holds appeal for him. Ok, that's a lie - it does hold appeal for him, but he's trying very hard not to give in to his old bad habits.... because what Gwyn doesn't know would hurt her, and for that matter, she'd know anyway.

I would rather assume that the adulterating nobles present normally do so consistently with a few partners or just one mistress, and one should only have to make a roll if we have OOC knowledge that a player's chosen partner's desire is much less..."selective". For sanity's sake (ironically).

Speaking of that did you roll to see if the woman became pregnant? I realised to roll it after to doing the first and rereading it.

Enjoying the contrast between Theo and Baelon's decisions, but what is striking me a bit more is that it would be in character for Theo to do exactly the same as Baelon for exactly the same reasons if he didn't trust his ability to disguise himself.

To an extent it's a difference in self-trust, and to an extent it's a willingness or lack thereof to sacrifice ideals for pragmatic gain. I deliberately flirted with the line of whether it was ideals or pragmatism that kept him from going. Baelon knows he is no angel, but he also believes himself to be, in general, a good person. Would he have gone if thought he could have gotten away with it? Maybe, maybe not. I think not, and IC he thinks not, but who knows? Sometimes my characters surprise even me. Would he have gone if he was confident he could have resisted the lure of it, but not trusted he would be undiscovered? Maybe, maybe not. It's not just the possibility of being unfaithful, it's the possibility of being believed to be unfaithful. He wants Gwyn to trust him, and wants to trust himself... but also knows that trust needs to be earned, and that fragile trust is easily shattered when there is even the mere suggestion of betrayal.

Pregnancy is optional for female PC's.

Such activities do come with a risk.  If your partner or you are female, you (or they) must roll an Athletics (Stamina) test TN 15.  If you (or they) succeed then they (or you) become pregnant.  Obviously, this is not an issue if both partners are of the same sex. [Optional for female PCs]

From the wording it seems mandatory and only optional for female PCs.

Yeah, pregnancy rolls for PCs is a no-no, that's narrative driven and discussed with players. NPCs are fair game.
