Davain will be at D10 to sink your battleship. Also mush distance is each square?

Updated to include modified initiative.

Actually, my initiative is 12 due to AP.

CD 7 (9 when wielding LH dagger)
Health 9/9
Superior Scale (AR 6)
Weapons: Superior Longsword, Superior LH Dagger, Pitchfork (Peasant tool), Lots of knives and daggers and a few other surprises.
Move 3/10

I am assuming the dogs will not be in the combat if I can prevent them from being released.

Nice. I've always wanted to see a knife thrower in action, but never wanted to bother with building a character around a finite amount of attacks. Make them bleed!

In combat, each square is 1 yard. In warfare, each square is 10 yards. Time to switch gears, Yoren. That's way too few spaces between our characters. Reader, could we start on our horses?

If I sprint, I shouldn't be able to outrun a dog who is running as fast as they can, unless we're in a marathon(personally, I would still probably lose :? )]

You're right. However, I don't think putting it to scale is possible. It will become extremely minute. Remember that it would make the map a hundred times as big as what it is...

Very cramped conditions for horses. Lesser action to control and Animal handling (tn) 12 if going more quickly than a walk or in combat. Failure = dismounted, mount's athletics damage that goes throw AR.

Initiative roll from Lady Corrine and we can kick this off I think.

(OOC If I understand correctly CD12 (CD7+5 cover) to hit the hedge knight, if the roll is failed it will likey hit Lady Lily. Luecian is in the initiative lead atm, he will take a first shot at the hedge knight near Lady Lily with a bonus die from stealth)

Luecian successfully remains hidden at E11. : 4d6k3-2 7 + 2 BOA=9

: 4d6-2 18
Equipment: LongBow + Quiver of arrows, 2 Hand Axes, 3 Knives, Spear, Hard Leather Armor, Buckler
Health: 9/9
CD: 9, AR: 3
F/I/W: 0/0/0

Luecian had snuck into place as the others made their way forward. Nathan had removed himself from the group as well and the huntsman expected he was somewhere out there getting himself into an advantageous position. Spotting the men guarding The poor lady was easy enough, they seemed to be making no attempt to hide. Creeping an arrow out surely and silently his eyes tracked the hedge knight near the unlucky lady. Taking a deep breath he moved his bow up slowly into position and took another breath as he drew the bow back. Exhaling he let the arrow fly with a prayer to both the warrior and Lady Luck. He always seemed to court the latter more devotedly than the former.
Lesser action - Aim
Lesser action - Attack
: 9d6k6 27 vs CD 12(CD7 +5 Cover) 4 DoS * 6 = 24 dmg - 4 AR(1 piercing)= 20 dmg to the hedge knight- Dead I believe.

Luecian watched as the arrow took the man savagely in the throat as he was knocked back from the impact a few feet before crumpling to the ground. The huntsman sighed in relief as Lily appeared unharmed if shocked and perhaps a bit blood spattered.Do be hopin we can get her outta that mess now.

(OOC- Lady Corrine- you could help Nathan with the hedge knight trying to release the dogs or open fire on the big boss man himself perhaps? Either way we have enough people to turn into pin cushions here)

Riding steadily towards Red Doro's left flank in a wide arc, Corrine takes careful aim, and looses an arrow at his chest.

You are shooting from at a range less than 100 yards, so your current distance incurs no penalty. Aiming adds +1B to attack, but I would consider this also: you'll have to make a Lesser action to control your mount, plus to ride in combat and to go faster than walking in cramped terrain, you'll need to roll Handle Animal TN12(just the one), says Reader.

Riding benefits: use mount's movement instead, +1B Fighting vs non-mounted enemies, and war-trained steeds provide +2 damage to Fighting tests if remaining stationary(doesn't say if tacked on, or added to base before degrees). One might assume that all of our warriors' steeds are war-trained, or we wouldn't have brought them.

Current person's turn in bold:
Luecian 18
Corrine 16
Nathan 14
Loreia 13
Badger 11
Davain 9
Jorah 6 (higher skill rank)
Hedge 6
Red Doro 5
Trelane 1

[OOC: gave Nathaniel a small PM nudge. Giving him until Monday night, from then everyone gets 24 hours before I act for them. Don't normally do this, but this is a busy thread!

All - please try to give an additional round of suggested actions to keep things moving, albeit we've got quite a while to resolve this.]

OOC wrote:Here's the thing: we start 60 yards away from the enemy, which is way too big for the grid. Yoren made a grid at Warfare scale, with each square representing 10 yards, but that gets a little confusing.

I thought we could keep a mental tab and note how close we're getting to our targets, until we're at least within sprinting distance. I'm on my horse, riding straight toward hedge knights 3 &
4, covering 8 yards with 52 more to go before I reach either of them, 42 before I can put myself on the map at the edge of sprinting distance.

Don't worry though, shouldn't take long. Horses and hounds are fast creatures. On my this turn, I'll cover 32 yards, and my hound will cover 31, shortening the distance between me and my target to 20 yards(21 for Badger). My target could charge me, but they'd only get within two yards of me this turn.
