The Trip South to King's Landing
Ser Tymon Lannister traveled south to King’s Landing to attend the induction of Ser Jorah into the Kingsguard ;
the party included his betrothed, Lady Helen Dulver, his future brother-in-law, Terren Dulver (may be brothers in law, just waiting on response back from Walton), his friend the huntsman, Luecian Longbow, Septon Arlyn as well as a group of House Dulver retainers and men-at-arms.
Tymon had enjoyed the trip south a great deal;
Lady Helen’s excitement and wonder had been infectious. She had rarely traveled from the Stony Heath in her seventeen years and she marveled in delight as they made their way down the Kingsroad, taking in every sight. As they made their way south, some nights they set up camp outside the walls of a Keep or Castle, dining with the lord or landed knight and lady of the keep while other nights they stayed at inns along the road. They were well fed on the journey, as many times, after securing permission from the lord or landed knight who owned the land, Luecian would bring back plentiful game for the cooks. The trip south had also proven to be an excellent opportunity for Tymon to get to catch up with his future brother-in-law Terren.
As Tymon and Helen rode through the Dragon Gate and entered King’s Landing, he thought how different it was this time. He had come to the capital with his parents frequently as a child and then again when he was squired to Ser Alayne Tarly, but this time, he came as a knight, and with him came his betrothed, a beautiful young noblewoman he cared for deeply. He felt as if he was starting to find his place in the world. Lady Helen was beside herself with excitement to be in the city, and she delighted in the sights and sounds of the capital. Her face had showed open shock as they approached King’s Landing and the city came into view. She had read and heard stories about the city growing up, but it was another thing entirely to see firsthand the scale and size of the capital, as well as the teeming masses who either called it their home or had business there. Ser Tymon had made arrangements to see many of the sights of the city during their stay, and they visited the Great Sept of Baylor, the Dragonpit, the port and nearby fish market, as well as a number of shops of dressmakers and jewelers. He had also sent a message by raven to his uncle, Lord Tyland Lannister, the master of ships, to ask if they might have an audience with him while they were in the city. He wanted to introduce Lady Helen to him as well as discuss some family matters.

Re: The Trip South to King's Landing
Helen marvelled at Tymon's extravagant gift of a Lannisport gold necklace in the shape of a lion. Truth be told, a refined Hightower or Tyrell might just it typical Lannister gaudiness, but none could doubt the gift's craftsmanship or value. Her lord father could afford such largesse, but chose not to spend his fortune on frivolous items, preferring to stock his cellars deeply instead. "
Earth Yields"
but Lord Dulver seldom did.
The travel, the splendour, it was all so different from Deepen Hall. With her flawless knight carrying her favour, it was all so perfect. It was all so magical.

Re: The Trip South to King's Landing
Septon Arlyn was traveling in his customary wagon. On closer inspection one might see that the seats had been installed with new springs, and a few of the boards on the bed had been replaced. Also there were Was most of the supplies and fodder for men and beast in the Septon's wagon. Enough to survive the week at Kings landing without purchasing anything from the city.
Curious.
