Ben and Ellie walk arm in arm through the swelled and bustling market. Ellie pointing out all the new and exotic things she saw, her face a constant expression of amazement. Ben smiled deeply, overjoyed at his sisters enjoyment of the market. "
Shall we find a tailor? It was brought to my attention last night that I was not recognizable at a man of House Tullison, that must be remedied."

Ellie gives been a look of suspicion. "
Was this while you were out carousing. Its probably best if your not recognized while out doing Gods no what."

Ben feigns indignity. "
I was protecting My Lord."
he laughs heartily.

The pair approach a shop nearby.

Upon entering the seamstress' shop, they see Corrine, accompanied by two bored-looking guardsmen, studying her reflection in a large mirror. She has tried on a lavish yet modest olive green silk dress, sewn with freshwater pearls and gold thread. The drape is slinky and form-fitting, though not particularly revealing of flesh, only showing a little of her back and upper chest, the sleeves made of fine lace.

She catches sight of the pair behind her in the mirror and turns to greet them with a smile.

"
Ben! Lovely to see you! And Ellie, a pleasure to meet you at last!"

Ben's smile becomes more animated at seeing Corrine, his eyes opening a bit wider at the sight of her in the dress. He looks to the guards not recognizing either, but still address Corrine formally. "
My Lady you do that dress much and more justice. Good morning to you."
He places his hand on Ellie's shoulder. "
Lady Corrine Marsten may I formally introduce Ellien Blackthorne my sister."

As they enter and Ellie saw the girl she new who it must be from Bens description. Her hand went to her mouth in shock then as quickly she recovered her composure. After Ben's introduction she curtsy deeply, head bowed. "
My Lady, my brothers description of your beauty is precise, few can match it."
Ben blushes slightly.

Corrine smiles warmly at Ellie's compliment;

"
You are too kind. As charming as your brother, I see."

She flashes a cheerful smile at Ben.

"
I take it you two are seeking outfits for this evening?"

"
Yes-well I am actually in need of a bit more. It seems the simple colors of House Blackthrone are far from the Blue and red of House Tullison."
Ben's gaze passes over the merchandise in the place before ending back on Corrine. "
Are you seeking something special for this evening, My Lady."

Ellie stands idle at his side. Her hands folded in front of her. "
I, my Lady, am along to make sure what he buys will not embarrass us. If it is not armor most men have no idea how to dress."
She smiles and snickers.

Corrine joins Ellie in a good-natured giggle.

"
Where would they be without ladies of taste?"

She addressed Ben again;

"
Did someone imply that your own colours are insufficient? Or are you seeking to make a statement of allegiance?"

Ellie moves a bit closer to Corrine. "
Yes they would be lost."
She lowers her voice considerably. "
They would walk about in a sack with their Captain Standish flopping about."
She winks at Corrine and gives a small laugh before falling back into a formal stance.

Ben shakes his head. "
No, No. I will always bleed House Blackthorne colors. It was brought to my attention last evening that it was not clear what house I served. I want House Tullison to receive recognition for all the victories and achievements I win at this tourney."
Ben eyes Ellie suspiciously. "
I hope my sister has not said anything inappropriate or unbecoming a lady, as she has a tendency to do among those she deems friends."
His eye then go to the guards again, a worried look on his face.

Ellie's lewd comment makes Corrine blush and look at the floor, but Ben's explanation thankfully saves her from commenting.

"
I see. I hope that does not reflect any bad blood with House Marsten,"
she says warily, with earnest eyes. She catches him looking at the guardsmen.

"
Don't worry about them. They are here for my safety. You are a friend, Ellie too."

After seeing Corrine's reaction, Ellie's face reddens in embarrassment. "
I apologize my lady. When you born in a house of ship captains you pick up bad habits. Lady Morraine and Yve have tried their best break me of them, but sometimes..."
She smiles meekly.

Ben shakes his head disapprovingly at Ellie. "
No my Lady. No problems with House Marsten. I have scant seen much of House Marsten. I ran into Gwyn-Lady Gwyneth at the welcome ceremony and spoke with Ser Baelon shortly at the inn."
Ben gives the guards a nod and smile. Precisely your mother may not think us speaking is safe Returning to gaze at Corrine his eyes meet hers for a brief second before he speaks. "
Of course they are. One must protect well what they cherish most."
His lips curling into a lighthearted smile.

Corrine smiles shyly at him, holding his gaze a moment with her piercing blue eyes.

"
It is a shame that we have not seen much of you. I always valued your presence."

She looked at Ellie with a similar shy kindness;

"
It is alright, Ellie. I am simply not... as worldly as some. I am unaccustomed to frankness, and... such references. You did not offend me though. It was just unexpected."

Trying to say she wan't used to mentions of male anatomy while in Ben's presence was making her even more embarrassed, her pale cheeks flushed, and she shuffled a little.

"
No matter,"
she said cheerily, with a deep breath, willing the colour out of her face. "
Let me help you choose your new colours!"

Ben beamed at Corrine's considerate words about him and his smile widened at her softness and kind words to Ellie. "
Thank you for your understanding."
He leans his head towards Ellie. "
You will make a great mother someday and leader of men, you are kind and considerate."

Ellie nudges Ben. "
I don't think she wants to hear about having children and ruling right now."
Ellie addresses Corrine. "
We would love for you to help us. You obviously have great fashion sense."
Ellie waves her hands to indicate her current dress. "
Although I don't think Ben would look as good in that dress as you, my lady."
She gives Corrine a friendly smile.

Ben's words warmed Corrine's heart greatly. As much as she was indeed in no rush for family and ruling, it was something she did hope for in her future. It was heartening to have her old friend see such potential in her. Why did her mother object so much to such a gentle, noble soul? Before she could reply though, Ellie's joke made her laugh loudly. She quickly tried to regain her composure, stifling further giggles.

"
I'm sorry, Ben, but your sister is quite the comedian!"

She swept over to where a neat row of doublets and shirts were hung, stroking the fabric of each one.

"
What are Tullison's colours again?"

"
Red mountains on a blue field, My Lady. Stone Endures."
He throws in the house words to test them out. "
Please, My Lady, keep it simple. I do not wish to look like a pompous peacock."
He watches her move gracefully around the room, her delicate hands brush the materials. "
Though I believe myself to be in good hands, so I will trust in you."

Ellie follows behind Corrine with similar actions. "
Perhaps you should get fitted by the good lady Ben."
She calls back over her shoulder. Facing Corrine she whispers. "
You make him a little nervous. Not in a bad way."

"
Don't worry, Ben. I would not dress anyone like a peacock. We shall find you something tasteful."

She began looking through the blue and red clothes, holding items next to eachother to discern their mutual suitability. She grinned shyly at Ellie's quiet words, and she blushed again, making her turn her back to Ben a little more hurriedly than was elegant. Her own voice was a whisper.

"
Oh, really? I thought it was just me being awkward. I confess, I feel a little nervous around him too. We have not seen eachother since we were barely out of childhood. It is... strange to see the man he has become, though not unpleasant. My mother does not like us speaking though. I shall get quite the scolding for this. Not that I mind. It is good to see him. Goodness, I am definitely saying too much!"

She ran a hand through her hair and redoubled her concentration on the clothes. She selected a cerulean doublet and russet sash, white shirt, dark blue lambswool trousers and dark brown boots &
belt. She offered them to Ben.

"
Try these on. I think they will suit."

Ben slips behind a curtain with the seamstress and the clothes Corrine presented him.

Ellie smiles back at Corrines response. "
It actually makes me feel at ease to hear you speak frankly. I care-"
Ellie is cut off by a scream from behind the curtain and Bens apologies. Ellie has a look of knowing. "
It is alright, my lady"
She glances in the direction of the curtain and then to the guards now at attention. "
Ben has quite a few scars, some that will scare the superstitious and some that will cause those with a weak stomach to be sick. Thankfully our good Lady is not weak of stomach. I do apologize he should have warmed her."

"
I'm sorry, I did not know,"
Corrine replied, glancing anxiously between the curtain and her guards. She gestures subtly to them with a hand, letting them know they need not act, then returns her attention to Ellie.

"
What happened to him?"

Ellie looks to the curtain making sure Ben was not coming out soon. She lowers her voice again. "
My Lady, if you swore to keep it secret, I would tell you. But it is a tale best told in a quieter more private place."
Her freckled face is slightly saddened, low she still wears a smile. "
Just name another time and place"
She glances back again. "
when Ben is not around. He does not like me to discuss it."

"
Yes it is nice. True friends are hard to come by."
Ellie gives Corrine a look of girlish adoration.

Ben came out, his hand pulling at the neck of his garment. He looks from Ellie to Corrine, with a small sheepish smile. "
And the verdict ladies? Please do not leave me in suspense. Dashing or disturbing?"
He laughs nervously.

I believe you may have a second career should not like your current position."
He gives a chuckle. "
I will be sure to let people know who dressed me."
Followed by more laughter.

Ellie nods in approval. "
You are lucky we ran into Lady Corrine. I think you may catch a few eyes this evening."
She looks at Corrine. "
Isn't that so?"
Then winks at her with devilish grin.

Ben shakes his head at the twos playful jests. "
My lady do not encourage her, please."
Ben ducks behind the curtain to change back.

"
My lady, your skills with fashion are unmatched. Would you by chance have a talent with shields?"
Ellie stares at Corrine hoping she takes the bait to accompany them to their next stop. Ben sighs audibly "
Ellie I am sure Lady Corrine has better things to do then jaunt around with us."
Ellie gives her a pleading face. She mouths her words. "
Please come."
