Ben and Ellie make their way about the Blackwood pavilions. They stop to speak with servants and soldiers alike that Ben had met through service to the house. Finally after Ben was sure he knew what was going on in the camp he made his way to the Lords tent.

His good friend Brant was guarding the entrance and knew what brought Ben here. Nodding he led him into the tent, Ellie waiting outside.

Taking a knee upon entering he spoke remorsefully. "
My Lord, I have come to offer my sympathies to Lady Sophia."
He bows his head to the young woman. "
And to offer my services should you need them in any way, with Lord Dunstan's approval of course. I may not serve House Blackwood any more but Blackwood blood still flows in me!"
His fury could be felt by the end.

Lord Bryan Blackwood gestures for Ben to stand.

Blood runs thick, and your blood is true. House Blackwood shall need all its old friends over the coming days after this unpleasantness."


Lady Sofia's face is smudged by make-up and tears, but beyond that her face is remarkably composed, she does not speak, leaving matters to her father.

Lord Bryan gives a hand to help Ser Ben rise, an unusual gesture from a lord, but does not turn to address his daughter.

Ben accepts the gesture feeling a slight unease. "

He bows turning to lady Sophia to do the same. "

His eyes relay his sympathies to Sophia. He exits the tent with a burning fury. Ellie simply falls in behind not speaking.
