They should have their own forum, all proper! Let's agree to share any information that would be beneficial to the other. We're all friends here.

Re: AFK thread
Sorry, house events postponed again until Sunday.
Apologies for continuous "
Jam tomorrow"
- had to help fiance's sister transport a cat...
Charming fiance needs to be in the office all day tomorrow, lawyering (poor thing) - thankfully, Asian stock markets aren't open at the weekend so I'll be able to post the house events then! Always grateful I don't do the Middle East (Saudi Arabia is open on Sundays?!).

Re: AFK thread
Is House Drakeson getting our own event, or did I correctly assume that we are helping with the Coldbrook event?

Assumption correct: you're part of Coldbrook, although as noted, PCs are flexible in what they participate in.

Re: AFK thread
Just the Bartheld event to come tomorrow morning.
Market stuff still busy, but dragging myself back on form! It's a fun way to relax. As before, players helping out on mass combat/duel stuff (both wildlings and house events) will make a huge difference. Frees me to finish writing story 2.

I will likely be quiet tomorrow, at least during the day, as I have an early night to get now, and a full day tomorrow of monologuing my little heart out for college.

Re: AFK thread
I am back from vacation and will likely have some more posts up until the weekend. If anyone needs an NPC piloted for the house event duells, I could help out.

Re: AFK thread
Map duty was delegated to some people in the clans thread, though it's not clear who at this point.

I think I'm going to have to go back for a while. With the kids school and my school starting up in full swing I'm having a hard time even thinking up things to post, let alone finding time to post them. Thank you all for the wonderful experience in the game.

You'll be much missed and welcome back with open arms, even in a more limited posting capacity.

I just got back, and will be gone for 1 to 3 weeks starting next week, my wife's grand father just got his cancer meds taken and we're going to visit him. I will be hopefully on sporadically if I can.

It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Lear's more my level: HOWL HOWL HOWL!
The new Macbeth excises "
What, you egg?"
to cut down on the sniggering from modern audiences.
Despite this shortcoming I heartily recommend it.

Re: AFK thread
Sadly just about every one of my Shakespeare performances has been cut - for length, mostly (silly American audiences and their intolerance for long plays).
That line usually makes the cut, except once when for some reason we didn't have MacDuff's son cast at all. The 'he has killed me, mother' line gets cut more frequently, probably because we rarely had a youth skilled enough to pull off the tragedy of it - which then makes is seem like a comedic moment, ruining the whole scene (the perils of community theater in a suburban area - limited casting pool).
Heh, when I was First Murderer I was very ill (103F/39.5C fever - probably shouldn't have been there at all) and accidentally 'threw' Macduff's other child (a doll baby) off a balcony... because of the way we were staging it it hit the stage right in front of MacDuff (who was in a freeze), so couldn't let himself react. Luckily it bounced and fell behind the stage stairs. From the audiences perspective it probably looked planned, and got quite the reaction...

Would I be forgiven stupid, shameful disappearance? The first few days were a legit situation where I didn't have internet access, but it spiraled downward so, so far.
