She didn't. And she doesn't need saving. She hasn't done anything wrong, and has nothing to hide.

I think you're reading too much into it. You told her you moved the pots. That's what she's referring to.

She could have been more clear about that lol, instead of reading accusatory of something much worse lol

It's not her problem that Athelstan jumped to a conclusion, and not my problem that you didn't ask me to clarify. :;
):
I'm not especially bothered. It's an IC misunderstanding. If you want to change Athelstan's response to Corrine in light of my clarification, then go ahead, but it's not a big deal.

More Drama XD a IC misunderstanding and poking at it OOC
makes a bit of tension, as Corrine will eventually be more specific if the yield is accepted or maybe not a chance if other consequences do happen.

Thanks for the commentary on the poor courser. His name was Wildfeet because of the way he danced in the stables when Ser Jon picked him out.
Gwyn, look forward to hombrewing rules for House Drakeson's glue factory.
If you thought the horse's death was bad I'm hoping to do better with the trial. Then again, the horses are innocent, while some of the criminals will be justified sinners at best (in their own view). Let's hope you lot don't hang any innocents.

Corrine will be specific. I'm surprised Baelon hasn't bothered to ask her any questions.

Oh my glob! The horse had backstory?! That's even sadder!
And I'm pretty freaked out by how easily Ser Rufus confessed. I'm very suspicious, hehe.

Baelon knows something you don't know, and Baelon doesn't know you know something relevant. (I feel like I'm doing game theory again... )Lady Corrine Marsten wrote:Athelstan wrote:More Drama XD a IC misunderstanding and poking at it OOC

Neither is particularly conducive to asking questions.

Re: Game Discussion
It's all a giant misunderstanding and assumptions made IC, perhaps Ser Jorah and Corrine words will make this calm down, or perhaps Baelon abandons reason and says hell with it, and commits a crime, as he is not a House with the power of the kings justice or the power to arrest and do what he is doing.
It's all in the air, and we will see where it goes :8-): Daveth might just remain passive bystander, maybe not, Septon may come with soldiers or not.

Not to mention, we twigged to this whole thing pretty recently. It's urgent enough that we felt a need to act, even if it meant risking this sort of miscommunication.
The consequences of inaction, in our view, far outweighed the consequences of overreaction.

True. Sadly, right now, she's bit too bewildered to say much that is useful.

Re: Game Discussion
On the contrary, the legal system in Westeros is terribly unfair. I am a noble, you are not. I have various rights, you have none. Perhaps I would have to pay restitution to your father for the income he would lose by your death, but that's about as bad as it gets. Oh sure, I'd be making (more of) an enemy of House Longshore, but in terms of legal recompense? Merely a fine...Athelstan wrote:or perhaps Baelon abandons reason and says hell with it, and commits a crime, as he is not a House with the power of the kings justice or the power to arrest and do what he is doing.
Besides, as I said IC, he's acting on an a legal obligation that all subjects of the crown are supposed to do - act to protect the King and his interests (such as preventing a gunpowder er, wildfire plot.
Though, as I have said elsewhere - I have no desire to kill Athelstan. If that happens it will be because you have burned a destiny point to make it that way.
