Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Dunstan Tullison wrote:"
It's a pleasure to meet you Ser Colin!"
Dunstan says trying to outshout the cheering mass of onlookers.
"
As is it to meet your lordship!"
Theomore Tullison wrote:"
It is indeed an honor, Ser"
Theomore smiles in greetings. "
But I fear this little tidbit has already been disclosed to us by the fair lady Ellie, you would not have another to share by chance?"
"
The honor is mine."
Ser Colin answers. "
But beyond the secret of a glood clot on the ear, I don't know for sure but one thing."
Colin smiles ever more. "
If he would threaten to sing, give him whatever he wants, or perhaps the fair lady has disclosed this as well?"

"
Then he can hold us all hostage, ser"
Theomore looks at Ben sideways. "
We can't have that."

Perhaps I've gone to far."

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Ben laughs deeply and sincerely. "
My Gods did not require me to sing them praise on my knees. Instead I used that time more wisely."
His smile curling to one side mischievously.
"
Speaking of wise, how does Lady Gwyneth fair? I have yet to see her about."
Ben scans the crowd behind Colin for other Marstens.

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Colin smiles when Benedict laughs but grows more sincere. "
We've been missing this fellow in the Vale, you know."
he says "
and his old friends up the mountains are looking all over for you. It would be a shame if you couldn't come around to pay them a visit with us?"
As for Lady Gwen. "
I'm not sure where she happened to go, but I think that she may have wondered into the castle."

"
Well, perhaps some good may come of it,"
Ser Jorah mused, hoping that it would help their relations with House Marsten, not worsen them. His tone was neutral and she was aware that whatever Ser Jorah's opinion of House Coldbrook's succession crisis, it was kept close to his chest, though he was known to act as Lady Coldbrook's bodyguard when necessary.

Ben is pleased to hear Colins words. "
Yes there were many friends in the mountains who would like to see my head on a pike and a few inside the walls of Hartshorn. But I am sure you must have made twice as many friends by now."
He looks back to Dunstan with a suggestive look. "
Perhaps it may be arranged for me to visit these friends with a Host of Tullison men at my side?"
He casually looks to Colin. "
As to Lady Gwyneth. I hope I do get to see her soon. If you are to see her before me, do let her know I asked for her."

"
House Tullison has suffered at the hands of the savage clans as well Ser Colin! Ser Ben is right, House Tullison will be more than glad to help out in dealing them. Ser Matther knows every goat track in the mountains, and our scouts are the best in Seven Kingdoms!"
Dunstan boasts loudly excited at the prospect of future military campaign.

"
Your aid would be most appreciated by House Marsten."
Colin affirms. "
All men of honor and women of virtue would appreciate your visit with our friends in the mountains."
"
As for the Lady Gwyneth, I shall let her know."

Dunstans enthusiasm dwindles at the mention of Gwyneth, and he walks back to his uncle.
"
It was a pleasure to meet you Ser Colin. I look forward to future agreements regarding our rock chewing "
friends"
Dusntan says before he walks away.

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Ben observes Dunstans reaction at the mention of Gwyneth. Storing it away for a later conversation. Sure that Colin notices as well he replies. "
What it must be like to be a lord and turn down a beautiful woman in hopes of an even more beautiful woman or some such."
Ben then winks to Colin. "
But I am sure you do not turn any a way, do you?"

"
Untill then, my lord."
Colin says and then turns to Ben. "
I would never dream to refuse the request of a lady. Would you?"

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
At Colins words a spark goes off in Bens mind. I would refuse only if my heart was sworn to another. So, Dunstan who is she? To Coilin he replies. "
Pretty Ladies are every true knights weakness."
He tosses Colin a playful grin.

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Prince Daemon salutes Ser Jon Cobb with a warrior's raised fist and a cry of "
Remember the bridge!"
. This is taken up heartily by several of his accompanying veteran men-at-arms.
Ser Theomore Tullison receives a less martial greeting, but no less heartfelt as the Prince waves in his direction, not having forgot the man's spell as his squire.
Ser Baelon - the man many believe is your father studiously not not meet your eyes or even glance in your direction. [Other Characters can attempt to roll Awareness (notice) at TN 17 to spot this - critical failure will cause you to seriously misread the situation]
A murmur goes through the crowd as a rainbow appears over Riverrun as Princess Rhaenyra's party nears the castle.
“The Seven welcome you to Riverrun,” cries Erryk Cargryll. Princess Rhaenyra breaks in to a smile once more, and the crowd takes up Daemon Targaryen's shout of “The Seven for Rhaenyra! The Seven for Rhaenyra”.

The procession having passed, Baelon silently turns and walks away.
I will make you acknowledge me, father.
I. Will. Make. You.

Theomore responds with a two fingered salute or something thereabouts. Not adding his own thoughts to the matter of Dunstan and choice of ladies.

Jon bows deeply to the Prince and Princess, his relief almost palpable. He remembers! You are not forgotten my friends and comrades! And now perhaps there is a chance of helping another old friend... A secret smile appears on his worn features.

Re: [Day 1, Late Afternoon] Princess Rhaenyra arrives
Dunstan's somber mood caused by Ser Colin reminding him of his romantic troubles disappears completely as Prince Daemon shouts the words. Enchanted, Dunstan joins in the chanting with the crowd.
