Re: Tourney guests & Participants
Luecian spread a fair amount of silver out over the different matches. Most of it bet on Ser Tymon but he wagered on nearly every match in at least a handful of silver. He stayed mostly among his element with his bets, engaging with the guardsmen and retainers brought by all the nobles in attendance. All in all it turned out a good time and even better his winnings equaled much more silver than his losses.

Swear I seen the Septon collect some coin here from what had to been a bet eh....have to be remindin him of his own words I suspect. Wait till he be hearin me preach the Father's wisdom and the fickleness of Lady Luck...

Hmmmm. If it's allowed and lane 4 reopens, Davain might make a claim for it.

[OOC: seems reasonable to insert yourself at some point if Lord Redwain allows. Perhaps against Ser Tymon/Ser Theomore, depending on how their match shakes out?]

I added Ser Tymon to be the champion, which means lord Davain can attempt to fight against him
I did a small RP on Lane 4 of what happened and how Ser Tymon is placed as champion of lane 4.

OOC: I look forward to seeing how this influences relations between these PCs and the gracious Lord Redwain.

Aww. Now that it's happened, I'm missing what could have been - locking me into the Lane 4 champion box. Oh well, I can't blame you for wanting to avoid the controversy. Wouldn't wish it on you, in fact. I prefer to foist recognition of my skill upon the realm via accomplishments, not decorum, and defeating an albeit worn-down Jon is still an accomplishment.

No hard feeling from Davain.

The Septon is a little perplexed but does not feel it affects him one way or the other, so he ignores it

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
Well my reasoning is Davain originally didn't enter the tournament since he not a big fan of participating in them. Ayleth on the other hand wants Davain to play so we are going to Roleplay her convincing me to fill the vacancy that Loreia created and then me asking Ereth to let me join as a late contender. Since I'm a late contender it makes sense for Tymon to get the champion set over Davain.

Fair enough, open a thread for the RP and let me know when I jump to it

A significant one - he's one of the few NPCs with fighting 6 or higher.

Lane 5 requires some NPC attention.

Hey at least your shield was actually put in the champion box for a few moments, people will not like it, but credit where is due. The other option was not putting your shield up and not recognizing you at all and closing the lane with the Roxton shield lol.

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
So the lanes are closed, with the following victorious:
Lane 1: Baelon
Lane 2: Ben
Lane 3: Kevan
Lane 4: Tymon
Lane 5: Theo
Do we move on to the melee, ending the joust with the champions reigning together over their own boxes? Or do we organize a final lane, with the best-performing jouster being champion of that lane while the rest compete for what order they'll be challenging?

I do believe we end with the five champions reigning together.

This is so, although one of the champions is free to unconventionally strike another champion's shield or do something similarly dramatic and cause a grand scandal.
