Here comes a new challenger for Lane 4: : 3d6 8
Tied with Wil--Warrick Wheaton... Can he actually be portrayed as Will Wheaton? Rule of cool, guys.
Daveth Coldbrook had opted to join the wedding from invitation, and has brought his bodyguard and member of the Coldbrook personal guard, Loreia.

Loreia, you'll need to roll a tie-breaker with Ser Warrick.

I'll add you and Tymon to the lists once you've posted the tiebreaker.

Just to confirm that this is accurate, Loreia and a few other guards are with me, but Ser Jorah is not - he has too much else to finish up before his new job.Loreia wrote:Daveth Coldbrook had opted to join the wedding from invitation, and has brought his bodyguard and member of the Coldbrook personal guard, Loreia.

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
Theo's preference will be Lane 2 if Ben is not in Lane 2, and Lane 5 if Ben is in Lane 2.
At any rate, I can't make any rolls (neither status nor jousting) before reader and I are finished with some stuff that is relevant to my choices as to what to put XP into. Though I guess if everyone is fine with it, Theo could make up a pretext for being fashionably late, and mechanically act as his status result, is say..4, and roll deception against other people's passive empathy to see if he gets away with. Or send his status 2 squire to enter his name, and only after Kevan, Baleon and Ben has signed themselves up he starts invoking Theo's name to not have to stand in line all day (mostly to justify why Theo would come ahead of all the Knights of Quality IC). That would probably work out in pretty much the same fashion.

Lane 5, eh? Could end up facing Dunstan. That could be amusing.Theomore Tullison wrote:Theo's preference will be Lane 2 if Ben is not in Lane 2, and Lane 5 if Ben is in Lane 2.

I'm waiting (on you in part, in fact) on matters that could affect this as well... though I figured a minor retcon or handwaving of the status roll change would be pretty minor, though, so decided not to hold everyone up.

I think lord Benedict actually challenged Ereth when he rolled his status.

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
So word of god says that I can interpret the rules of routine successes on page 202 as Theomore being allowed to take 8 as the result on his status test.
Which either means he comes in as the first challenger in lane 2 or after Wyll in lane 5, depending on Ben's choice. Still can't roll any jousting dices before my sheet update is ready.

IC interpretation will be of a humdrum, lackluster challenge btw. Literally "
going through the motions"
. Perhaps Theomore is troubled...

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
So what we then know is that these jousts will happen:
lane 1 (Escobert Graen):
Miraz Erenford
Glendon Goode
Lane 3(Rickard Nayland)
Niall Lucas
Lane 4(Forrest Frey)
Perrin Haigh
Corbin Celtigar
Lane 5 (Yoren)
Dunstan (I have his stats, so will proceed shortly with him)
Tymon
Wyll
Ben comes in at the end of one of these (or against Ereth),

Glendon Goode

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
We need stats for:
Rickard Nayland
Miraz Erenford
Perrin Haigh
Jon Charlton
Then we can get a few crunched while waiting for Ben.

Jon Charlton is:
AH: 8
Health 6
AR 9
5d6k2 on the joust.

A little Theomorian scheme to give Dunstan an easy victory

One day we will get to roll an awareness roll on one of those cheats, and then there will be hell... :?

Someone caught Theomore already in a previous story. These are generally opposed by passive awareness (notice) from all present.

What? and nobody told me:/ It would be perfect if someone announced the cheating. All the knights that had been battered would then have to do all their fights again

I would think he has learned his lesson from Riverrun and at least has a AH 9 by this point in time and Fighting 4

Indeed, much of inter-PC angst of this past story can be tied back to Theo's cheating and resulting... let's term it 'influence'.Reader wrote:Someone caught Theomore already in a previous story. He's going to be facing Jon Roxton. Even with those changes it would take a number of small miracles for Charlton to end up the winning Jon...Ereth Redwain wrote:I would think he has learned his lesson from Riverrun and at least has a AH 9 by this point in time and Fighting 4

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
I don't expect him to last lol, but at least better stats by now, they are not frozen in time and their stats do improve with time.
I don't expect to win against the knight of quality without some lucky rolls or significant struggle either
I figured the champions should have been family and a trusted knight which you will break in half lol

Re: Tourney guests & Participants
Jon Charlton is essentially some old lord that doesn't know when to quit, his physical stats are probably only going to spiral further down from here. Roxton can deliberately botch his fighting rolls (by picking the lowest dices to keep) and still be guaranteed a win.
Theo comes in after Wyll Bracken in lane 5, it's extremely unlikely that Dunstan manages to defeat both Tymon and Wyll without burning DP, and considering what reader had to say on his participation, I'm not going to have Dunstan spend any.
