Corrine waves a hand in amiable dismissal.
"
Nevermind. It is good to see you, Gwyn. You look well."

"
As do you,"
Gwyneth replies warmly. "
And it seems we're all on the same trail together again. So!"
She looks back at Jorah. "
They serve...they have been at this for thirty years. Who is 'they?' Ser? Whom do you think this man represents?"

"
Lady Corrine, a pleasure as always."
He bows graciously, before letting the formality slide.
"
We are planning a tourney to celebrate the birth of our child - a formal invitation will be coming soon, but I do hope that you and yours will be able to attend? Also, there is another matter that Gwyn and I would like to talk to you about... but that can wait. There is more pressing business at hand."
He turns to Ser Jorah.
"
Septon Arlyn told us of this, and said that the Dornishman spoke with an accent peculiar to Sunspear. Does that perhaps narrow it down?"

Jorah shook his head
"
I have never met them. The only one my father met up close he managed to kill barely in the Reach according to what he told me."

Re: [King's Landing] The Man of the Hour (Closed)
Gwyn gives Corrine an excited look that, in the not too distant past, Corrine knows would have been accompanied by a little squee. But she manages to contain herself this time. "
If it's a boy, his name's going to be Mikael,"
she says, happiness bubbling in her voice.
"
And as for you...you're talking around the question,"
Gwyn points out to Ser Jorah. "
And it's not like you. Who are 'they?'"

Re: [King's Landing] The Man of the Hour (Closed)
Ser Jorah sighed. There was no way to avoid discussing the details.
"
Assassins sent by House Gargelan to kill my parents and when I was younger, probably me as well."

Corrine gave Gwyn a smile and squeezed her hand.
"
Ben &
I are expecting again too. Your little one will arrive before then though. We only found out recently."

"
Thank you. Sorry, we should stay focused. We can catch up later. If this man means you harm, we must find him quickly. If he presented himself at court, there will be a record of it. I will look for that, and see if I can get a name to follow."

Gwyn nods. "
I'll see what I can turn up. The description is a little vague, but he may have bought poisons, or gone to areas of the city unusual for someone of his appearance. A shark can't help but show his fin after all... I suggest we meet tonight for dinner and see what we've turned up."
