I'm guessing it wouldn't be unreasonable for Melisandre to bring him back from the dead after the Others start controlling his body, Light is stronger than Darkness and all that, but would his eyes still be blue? Season cover suggests he comes back as a wight and gets some new angry-eyes.

No spoilers for the new season, please. I am not planning on watching it until I have read Winds of Winter.... whenever it comes out.
For that matter, I haven't seen most of last season yet, either...

But do wights have souls? Or does John's soul warg into ghost, the others raise his body, then Mel drags him ghost into his own body again. (Removes tinfoil hat)

I was thinking it was more of rampant wild speculation then confirmed truths

All we have right now is a cover image of Jon Snow with angry eyebrows and wight eyes. I won't say anything else as new information develops.

So I've been getting back into ingress. (The game by the developers of Pokemon go). It's a great little game and encourages you to get out and go exploring as it is an augmented reality game.
Does anyone else have interesting games they have been playing lately?

Recommend King of Dragon Pass to anyone who hasn't played it. Full of wonderful art, strange events and a good mix of strategy and rpg elements.
Beyond that, Pillars of Eternity, Battle Brothers (early access but already wonderful) and the Kindgom Come: Deliverance beta.

Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
Being on a grad student's budget, I don't buy games much... lately I've been playing old console games via emulator - currently Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. It's a tactical combat/rpg with a story that is chock full of politics, scheming, betrayals, and war.
Also I play a lot of Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Video Game. Sentinels is a co-op superhero comic-based card game that is a ton of fun, and the video game is, well, the card game in video game format.
[url=There's a free "
learn to play"
version if you are interested,][/url] though it is just a small fraction of what is available in the full game, particularly the expansions and it is most fun multiplayer, which you can't do with the LTP version.

*Gasps!* Hey, you spoiled Jon Snow's eyebrows!
I kid. I never really watched the show, truthfully.

Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together and it's prequel, the knight of Lodis are great.
I enjoyed also Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War. Great stories.

That is the great thing about ingress is it is free. (Well, at least if you do not mind walking everywhere and the time that it takes to get there

Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
Tactics Ogre was recommended to me because I enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics. It's less grindy with its job system, but I still wish the abilities didn't have to be learned repeatedly for every character you played with.

Lately, I've been replaying Baldur's Gate. Still a classic.

He intends to be a Tullison I think, plus one other player considering joining as you'll have seen on the Green Ronin forums.
