Also got around to chronicle chapter 1 and 2 stuff (assuming the Frank Mooton part stands) for Theo, plus some other tidbits from pre-chapter 1 thrown in as revealed through play.

Everyone and their updating... Reminded me that mine is long overdue. Perhaps I will work on that tonight while the paint drys...

Ah, House Marsten, such stellar work by their maester in educating his charges on the proper formulation of treaty texts....it's sort of commendable that people enter that event with 2d6 knowledge, actually. But, yeah

Should never have sacked Maester Leopold. Don't see the Drakeson's botching the treaty work. :;

Another fine decision by Lady Isobel Marsten.
I tell you, those Andals are right about female rulers.

Hee hee
I only would have failed that one roll, okay?
And it seems Reader didn't give me the DoS for it anyway.

Scrutinizing the Treaty:
viewtopic.php?f=191&
t=2541
In my post I got 2 bonus dice from my Will roll, then rolled on the other three a 16, another 16, and a 17 versus a TN of 10, for 2 DoS each.
It's tricky, because my second roll was a 7 before I rolled the bonus dice. But then the bonus dice both came up sixes, jumping the fail up to 2 DoS.

here is a link to a spreadsheet that I made to help track house fortnes. At house Dulver we have a "
game of dulvers"
were we each compete against each other as well as against Lord Dulver and Maester Falsten in order to try and control what the focus is of the house, as well as having to enter into an intrigue if we want Lord Dulver to spend anything (greedy penny pincher that he is :;
): oh wait, I mean frugal, wealth conscience, hyper protective and smart lord )
feel free to barrow this format if it fits your needs. I find it easier to view things on spread sheets and feel like I can make more sense of what is happening if I view it this way. Also I add links to the rolls that I made in the spread sheet so things can be quickly and easily verified.
This is fairly basic, but it gets the Idea across :;

After reading Arlyn's White Harbor post, all I can think is that I want Lord Bolton's first name to be Mikael.
Love him or hate him, all will acknowledge he can belt a power ballad.

Or perhaps he is a diminutive office worker who is filled to the brim with repressed anger, and people keep thinking that he must really like the music of a famous minstrel that happens to share his name (from a remote, lesser branch of the house, perhaps) he feels the rage build up in him until he can take it out on a poor hapless fax machine - er, I mean, smallfolk.
