Welcome Ser Alfred!Ser Alfred Haigh wrote:...
If Alfred was in the War of the Stepstones (specifically Bloodstone) you may have seen or maybe even known Baelon as a child.
I'd recommend taking a spin through the looking for background tie-ins, though be aware that a good number of those characters are no longer actually playing.
I'm not so sure about that. In fact, I am fairly certain that they are going to be a very big player, given the discussion in the "Theomore Tullison wrote:I don't know how much the triarchy will feature in dragonsdance, I have a feeling that it won't really be much.
Wishes for the next chapter"

Perhaps we should make a new list with the currently active PCs?

I was planning on updating the list after the restart, I wouldn't want to take anyone off for not being active during the hiatus if they are planning on being around after we pick up again.

Do we have a ticking timebomb?Daeryssa wrote:
The peasant woman was talking nonsense. The whole Seven Kingdoms were nothing but honor;
an array of oaths that bound knights to lords, lords to lords paramount, lords paramount to the King. And she is cross the way Patience talked about her father. But Daeryssa says nothing. A lady controls her temper and is courteous at all times.
The reason we think a lady controlls her temper at all times is because nobody have lived to tell the story from when they don't...

Nonsense. A lady is courteous at all times. There is no 'when they don't.'
She is the soul of courtesy, even as she twists the knife in you, to make sure your kidneys are properly shredded.
Also - Edited my character entry in that thread. It was WAAAAAAY out of date. Hee hee. Any new players may want to take a look. House Drakeson is always looking for skilled and loyal help.
Finally - Corrine, do you want to keep going with the 'cousins catching up' thread? If not, it's no big deal;
I know it's been awhile.

Right, if ever a lady ceases being courteous, time itself ceases to exist, and begins again when the breach in courtesy is corrected.Gwyneth Drakeson wrote:Nonsense. A lady is courteous at all times. There is no 'when they don't.'
Such is the power of the lady.
On another note, I've been enjoying the respite from politicking. Having a character that just says what she thinks and damn the consequences is a nice change of pace. A fair bit of misanthropy mixed with a genuine desire to good for others makes for a fun internal tug of war, too.

Bad Loreia!
Exactly, Baelon! It's a fearful responsibility, to keep time itself going.
That, and Daeryssa just has a bit of an idealized idea of how noble ladies behave.

Sorry...I do remember discussing the matter in-house, then things got off track and voop.
I believe it has, I shall check back a few pages and see what we worked out.

Good plan! I will send out both an admin pm &
an email to everyone shortly after I get back. Touch wood, but repairs apparently going well in my absence. I will also advertise for new players in my usual places.

Re: Game Discussion
Depends on the match, I guess. Sweden-Italy was 88 minutes I'll never get back and I wouldn't have put it above the referee to give them 45 minutes additional for that waste of time some people call the first half... *curses*

Brazil has shown in 2014 what good a one man team is. We shall see, some underdogs still put up one hell of a fight, it will be interesting indeed.

The copa america is quite good, less hooliganism and more interesting, attacking football :;
