[D4, Round 1] Ser Benedict Blackthorne v Ser Perkin the Fle
Ben rides out with no pomp or fuss on Rose his rounsey. He pats her blonde main affectionately with his gauntleted hand. He looks to the Tullison entourage. Smiling to Ellie, before dropping his visor. With his visor restricting the crowds view of his eyes he looks to the Marstens. Pudgy hands Ben a lance and he nods his thanks. Spurring Rose into action.
Their lances crash, the Flea's with little harm, Ben easily remains tight to the saddle. His own lance driving Perkin shield to his chest, his chest forcing his back to his horses flanks. His feet following over his chest and back until his chest hits the ground with a clangor and spray of damp earth.
The crowd ohhs and ahhs over the impact. Ben rides to the end of the list and watches the attendants carry Ser Perkin off.
Maneuver: Defense +2
Passive Ride: 14 + 2 = 16
Health: 11
AR: 8
: 9d6k4-2 20
3 dos x 8 = 24 - 5 = 19 damage + fall Unconscious

Re: [D4, Round 1] Ser Benedict Blackthorne v Ser Medrick the
Ser Perkin the Flea is a fixture of the tourney circuit, his patronising nickname capturing his lowly status, but also his persistence. He's more poorly armoured than many of the household knights present, but their equal in skill and their better in determination.

Corrine cheers Ben as he rides on, and although the painful-sounding crunch of his opponent being struck and thumping onto the ground makes her wince and squeak, she joins in the cheers that praise Ben's victory.

Ser Perkin slumps from his horse unconscious. He's no stranger to wearing down competent knights, but lacks the defensive nous to engage in a war of attrition with Ser Benedict.
