[Day 4: R-1]Joust Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Henry Marbrand
This was it.
Dunstan rode out on his black courser, donning full plate painted in the Tullison colours. His whole body was bursting with excitement, jousting was one thing he dreamed about every single night since hes heard of this tourney, and many nights before. Taking a defensive stance he rode low, sitting solid in his seat. The crowd cheered but that were nothing more than a blurry background noise for the young Lord. Concentrating hard he charged the opponent.
Maneuver: Defensive +2
Passive Ride: 12+2 = 14
Health: 9
AR: 10

At the last moment, the herald calls a change. Ser Henry Marbrand is replaced by Lord Jon Charlton, the latter chuntering loudly to the crowd about putting this young Lord is in his place!

[OOC: charge is -1D but no static penalty or bonus to your roll - should your result be 14?
Remember to post your damage too - it's (AH+3, + bonus dice in strength, +2 for charging) all multipled by DoS as normal]

Didn't include the AH bonus die but had a nice roll so doesn't matter this time. Will remember for the next round. Result should be 14 yeah. So still 2 DoS = 9x2 = 18 dmg.
My AR soaks up his damage as it's 10.

[OOC: : 2d6-2 4 Lord Charlton falls from his steed and has taken enough damage to be defeated - winner chooses consequences - he was so close to making you fail your ride check but happily Lord Tullison survives]

Dunstan turns his horse around and sees the knight unhorsed. Taking his helm of he first checks if everything is alright with the man. It is as he stands up and let's the squire tend to his horse and armor. Giving a head bow Dunstan honors the fallen opponent.
He than turns around and announces to the crowd: "
All of my ransoms will be donated to the Septry of Riverrun! May the light of the Seven shine on all!"

Gwyneth stands to cheer Dunstan's victory, though she's a bit pale of face and resolutely avoids looking at the fallen knight. She waves at Dunstan when his eyes pass over the enclosure where she's been seated.
Once he quits the field, she quickly slips away as well.

Dunstan waves back and proudly shows her favor to both her and the crowd. He stops his horse and presents her a deep bow.

Beaming, she returns a curtsy, and takes her seat again, still clapping her hands.

This gallant display earns a great cheer from the smallfolk, who love a bit of showmanship.
The odd noblewoman mutters enviously about it being an unimaginative cliche, but few pay them any heed.
