[Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garibald
Dunstan rode out with increased confidence this time. Not changing his winning tactics he rode low again. Parading around a bit Dunstan was more relaxed this time, smiling and waving to the audience. Putting the helm visor down he rides toward his opponent.

Re: [Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garib
Ser Garibald the grey is a veteran of countless tournaments and a not infrequent winner, particularly at smaller affairs.
He's determined to ride this young lord down, standing high in the stirrups for extra leverage.
Passive Ride: 14
Health: 12
AR: 10
: 9d6k4+2 22 - that's meant to be high in the saddle, as you can tell from the +2 bonus
Result: 2 DoS = 16 Damage, TN 12 to stay in the saddle

Re: [Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garib
Dunstan takes a hard, fierce blow and barely stays in saddle, not even knowing himself how he did that. His own strike was true as well but he hardly noticed that - being concentrated too much on simply staying atop Balerion the courser.
Action: Spend a DP to bestow -1D, so result is 18 = 1 DoS, I guess TN 9 now to stay in saddle.
: 3d6 8
Action: Spend DP to get bonus dice for AH - : 1d6 2
OOC: So I get to 9!
Damage: 8 dmg vs 10 Ar
HP: 9/9
: 7d6k3 15 -2= 13. 1 DoS= 9 vs 10AR= 0

Re: [Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garib
Shaken a bit after a ferocious blow, Dunstan tries to brace himself so it would be easier to stay on the horse in case another similar blow comes his way. Carefully he trots toward the opponent ready for another clash!

Dunstan survived another tilt against the skilled opponent. Not wasting any time he braced himself again and rode towards him, readying his lance.

Re: [Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garib
OOX: Well, I would spend a DP but bestowing a -1D on his ride check still leaves him at 10 so that wouldn't do much and even if I transformed one of my bonus die into test dice he'd pass the 2DoS ride check requred. Burning is not an option since I got plans for that later on. Admit defeat it is.
Dunstan did not fall from his horse but was outmaneuvered completely in every other aspect by the experienced knight. As he was proclaimed a victor the young Lord took of his helmet and said
"
By the Seven you can ride! Congratulations Ser Garibald!"
he ignored the muscle aches he felt all around the body and seemed genuinely impressed by the prowess shown.
A small army of pages and squres surrounded Dunstan as he got of the horse, he ordered them to take the courser and his armor directly to Ser Garibald.

Re: [Day 4, Joust Round 2] Lord Dunstan Tullison v Ser Garib
Ser Garibald waved the ransom away.
"
Well ridden Lord Tullison! Coin shall suffice - that steed bore you bravely and your armour turned away many a blow, I would not deprive you of it."
"
Perhaps we shall face each other in the melee, although I hope to find myself matched against gentler foes!"

"
Aye, I'll have a delegation over later today. May the Warrior guide your lance well during the tourney!"
Dunstan says and signals Haelis to arrange the coin transfer to Garibald.
