We're all getting too hung up on modern notions of justice rather than those in play in the setting.
Tribunals? Inquests? Pass judgements (or have Reader use Corrine as a mouthpiece to do so to avoid PvP).
I had been speaking to Theo, Baelon. That wasn't directed at you.

If you lot go to the bother of recruiting a competent canon squire, the least he can do is show up.

Let's hope Ben has trained him well enough!

What leadership my Lord Benedict. Leading one group into the darkness, while his trusted squire supports the second group!

Tribunals? Inquests? Pass judgements (or have Reader use Corrine as a mouthpiece to do so to avoid PvP).
The problem being that if you start to fabricate proof and witnesses, then you have opened the PvP can of worms.

No more of this here from either side please.
Nobody has crossed the line yet, but let's make sure it doesn't happen.
I'm in a good mood and having fun, let's not change that.
I'll tackle this issue as I've got a list of the evidence. They're welcome to resubmit lists to me if they want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Ahem. I'm not actually out to get anyone, I sent Baelon a short apology PM for my outrageous luck and his poor rolls.
Still, Baelon's pretty handy in a swordfight and has the tactical advantage. Destiny may take a hand too. Let's not count the plucky Lord Drakeson out yet.

The net closes in on one investigation suspect, as Nathaniel and Samurel take advantage of scheduling, prior research and their abilities at subterfuge to uncover another clue.
Think Coldbrook have done so more on this separately too.

Heroic defence from Lord Marsten, and some shonky rolling from the fanatics.
I used up all of their good luck on poor old Baelon.

Deciding to enact his vengeance on the man who just killed his friend, he begins to recklessly swing at the Lord, hoping to deal enough damage to get past his armor, as well as draw attention to himself, hoping that the fanatic next to the torch would bring fiery justice onto the Lords and there minions.

No apology needed! Easily winning all the time would be boring. Plus, it makes what I'm about to do all the more dramatic....

So can I switch to somebody else as I do not assume Olyver will be there? (Otherwise I will save him if nobody informs me about what happened in between.)

Yes, of course, no need for you to be screwed by a timewarp. Updating the list tomorrow with stampede victims so maybe best to hold off until then?

Re: Game Discussion
Just emphasising this as I've discussed it OOC with a few players.
Underlining what I wrote in another thread too:
"
Will be flagging Nathaniel's reaction in the game discussion thread, as I've raised the Maester issue with a few people and the impact on Westeros's social fabric (has some Green/Black impact: the Greens control the citadel geographically but there are many Black maesters too)."
This is to some extent about how you present this and punish the maester in the final treaty: try to preserve confidence in maesters (real-politik) or let true justice be done publicly?
A question for the investigating houses to debate.

Nathaniel Mason wrote:Nathan got that sinking feeling he always got when something bad was about to happen.
He thought it was a Maester too. Specifically, he thought it was Maester Arryn. He had been investigating quietly to try and verify if that were true. The last thing he had wanted was a public display. If it became common knowledge, it would be a massive blow to the Citadel and serious situation across all of Westeros. If the Lords suddenly got it in their heads that Maesters could not be trusted, it might shift the very foundation of society.
Nathan looks at Corrine. "
I certainly hope it is not one of the Maesters, my Lady. The consequences of that could be dire."
Tread carefully, Lady Marsten. If either Maester is guilty, what you do will reach well beyond the Blackwood/Bracken borders.
