Good stuff, you've both put work in to this (instigating, witness gathering negotiating with Lord Frey, rumour placing etc), don't want either of you to miss out.

No doubt. :;
): I'm smashing the fourth wall and ruining immersion.
Apologies if somebody else has done this gag already - I've think I've made it at least once in an OOC forum already.

Re: General OOC Chatter Thread
This post's deliberately lame ending and the response is amusing, nice to see people setting each other up for lighthearted fun in amongst the marriages, scheming and violence.

Re: General OOC Chatter Thread
Prophecy: "
something's amiss. It needs to not be amiss, or you and your friends are fucked. Well, I hope you find out what it is!"
Blessed by the Crone, cursed by the Old Gods, this girl.
War and Peace increases are per DoS. Corrections accordingly are as follows:
Corrine's persuasion is 2 DoS, for +2 Peace.
Kevan's is the same result, for +2 Peace.
Baelon's is a result of 3 DoS, for +3 Peace.
War and Peace are currently breaking even...
Ugh, if only Jorah could act. If I were to guess, I'd say Cunning(to Persuasion), Brawling(would that be smart for Kingsguard hopeful? I dunno), and Peace. One more day and Daveth might be able to bring it around town.

To my eyes, the influence roll only nudges peace/war by one step regardless of DoS.

Re: General OOC Chatter Thread
I read it as ambiguous, but took the conservative interpretation. The DoS is there, so it can easily be corrected if that's incorrect.
'per success' could mean "
per each player's success"
or it could have been intended to be 'per degree of success'.
What I would like to know is whether these rolls (particularly the choice of persuasion rolls) are IC available information. In other words, do we all know IC that Theo and Dunstan are encouraging the violence?

Re: General OOC Chatter Thread
That's kinda the main reason I'm using deception, Theo doesn't want people to notice that he fuels the fires.
I read it a bit like:
Peace: trying to calm people down.
War: agitating, spoiling for a fight, replying to an insult with another...that sort of thing, so a lot of it comes down to the context of the RP I think.

I reacted that way because Dunstan would get himself worked up and brawl and argue with people because he is hot headed teen football player, or at least a westerosi equivalent.. Not trying to spread violence intentionally but reacting violently o the chaos and the riot.

1 - only success/fail matters for persuasion, unlike fighting. Sorry for ambiguity.
2 - The event is intended to allow Theomore's reading, or outright villainy and deception, depending on roleplay. Westeros is a martial culture, so bragging, talking your side up and getting stuck in isn't a hanging offence (although some may still think badly of those who do it).
- Theo's way is harder to trace.
- Dunstan's way is more obvious, but generally interpreted as boisterousness (not to say some won't think ill of this).
As Dunstan notes, it's in character for him!
Again, sorry for ambiguity and let me know if anyone wants to adjust actions in light of this.

Ben's success in calling for peace should be included too.

I kinda thought to make mine longer...or perhaps an ongoing project. Not enough time to play around with the themes in my head.
Getting drowned in all the prizes is rather meh, though.

You've got a post in your personal forum that links to this however! How attached is Ser Theomore to his prizes? :;

Daveth's posts are excellent, so hoping he finds the time to show up in your nightmare too, he's pretty thematically appropriate.

I've separated Corrine's nightmare from the thread at the wheel tower, so others can contribute.

A prize to anyone who gets a "
Fear is the mind-killer"
or similar Dune reference in to Corrine's nightmare, given the title. :;

I don't think he has a place in Theomore's nightmare, his brother on the other hand...
