I'm not going to bed until I eat a bit of it either. Was tempted to bake 2 other cakes, because the urge is upon me, but that way lies madness.
How is a cake like a corkscrew?

Any opinions on Jessica Jones? When I'm not posting in the evening it's because beloved GF and I are watching it. Smile

I've still got c3 episodes to go, so no spoilers please.

I enjoyed it even though it's very dark. It's surprisingly sensible and well judged on the abuse issues thrown up.

I am only in episode 2 but I like it so far, also liked daredevil s1. The darkness and grittiness of the tv series is something I really like.

I enjoyed Jessica Jones as well. I'm a fan of a slightly darker tone and gritty tv series as well, not overly surprised that we enjoy the tone of ASOIAF too. :;

I'll have to look into this. I'm looking at the IMDB page and the dates of the episodes seem to suggest that the first season of 13 episodes popped up overnight. Marathon time, good for me, but...what??

Just game out on Netflix, probably the greyest Marvel film/TV adaptation yet. As the others said, perhaps a bit predictable that it would appeal to ASOIAF fans, but it is good.

Just finished my 'dear god, why can't I die?' sick-day binge watch of Jessica Jones today.

Aside from the coughing until blood comes out of my nose (which was not really due to the show), I liked it quite a bit. I was pretty impressed with how the villain was at once scary and pathetic, without verging into attempts at overt pathos, or forced sympathy.

Good stuff.

Eloquently put and hope you're feeling better! I was searching for similar words earlier.

I am scared to watch it. Worried it might be too triggery for me.

Sorry I've hardly done anything on here today. I bought a PS4, and have spent the last 11 hours playing with it.

I installed Fallout 4, but ended up playing ESO first.

For those that may be interested, this episode of a History of Scotland parallels our game very well.

Reader, no spoilers;
I'm not sure when I'm getting to see it. Mad
I think it goes without saying, but let's say it now to make it clear: no spoilers(unless it's something old like Citizen Kane). We've talked about the Telltale game before and haven't spoiled anything.

We've all been exposed to enough Ice and Fire in one medium or another to be playing a pen-paper rpg set in the history of Westeros, but since the TV show hasn't gone through all the books currently published, no spoiling beyond that medium's position on the...timeline. Except for things that happened differently in the books. I'd say those are fair game. Everyone cool with that?

I've heard Chewbacca dies at the end, fighting off a dozen Sith ewoks at once.

Chewie, in this movie, is played by Sean Bean.

Sith ewoks? I'm sold. Never trust anything that looks like a walking teddy bear - especially ones that eat people. Laughing

Yep!

People are already shipping them. Chewokka. It's polyamorous, and weird, as befits sith.
