I loved the Tyrion chapters at King's Landing. Not enjoying them as much since he left.
In ADWD, the most interesting chapters to me were the ones in the North (Davos, Reek, Asha).

Castle Grenward is scarcely farther north than Josten's Rock, and is actually probably much warmer, as it's not up in the mountains...

And, as Yoren reminds me below, Lyanna Mormont is a new addition to my favourites. So I have 4 people I can still root for. With some luck, at least one of them will get to retire to safety. Or at least go out like a champ.

I was never that in to Tyrion's evil Miles Vorkosigan act.

Sadly, the TV show ruined (Stannis, the High Sparrow, Davos) or cut out completely (Jeyne Westerling) pretty much all the characters I cared about.

Lyanna's fun, though.

Neither.

I took petson to be a cute term for 'pet person'. I quite like the term, actually.

I am probably one of the few who was not a fan of Lyanna Mormont. Bit contrived for my taste.

As long as Ser Davos, Brienn and Pod are still alive there is still hope ! There might even be some for Ser Jorah, but I'm pretty sure they'll mess that up to get more viewers. Well, not going down that road again... We'll see.
