I think closing threads would be rather harsh. While I've still got a thread with Lady Dyana going on, the main one is I have a thread with Ser Fendrel that hasn't even really *started* yet, as he's been so busy/disconnected/whatever.

Length of game days - still undecided and flexible.

Closing threads - generally opposed, preference is:

1) wrap them reasonably quickly
2) Don't do anything bonkers that will have a huge impact on subsequent days and cause timewarp madness.

Otherwise, no need to close threads people are enjoying. Plus your narrator is too handsome and cool to spend thirty minutes locking/archiving threads. I love this game and the players, but don't want to turn it in to a chore.

If we are indeed moving to a 10d schedule, i would appreciate it very much, if we could switch by next week, so that the first 10d cycle starts this weekend and lasts until 3 june or so. That would help alot with my absence from 6 june to 21 june, where I will have very limited and unreliable internet access...

On absences like this, feel free to leave instructions in your private forums and I can pilot your character in jousts/combats/official events. Smile

I don't want my hard working players to miss out. You guys are driving the story, I just provide a framework.

A near term move to a 10d schedule is unlikely, but under strong consideration for the next story.

Most likely in the near term is a move to days starting on Thursday, if my workflow allows. Several players wanted this as it would allow them to contribute more, and this is mainly disruptive to me alone, rather than the broader schedule. Smile

If one assumes that this tree is someplace one can reach, fight, and get back again during a single timeslot, then no official event is missed, since it's the MM.

Theomore - I appreciate that concern. For verisimilitude (and sacrifice!) there's likely to be travel slot to clash with the equestrian competition. In the interests of heroism &
fun, those looking to get back in time might be allowed to drive their mount hard/make some rolls to get back in time. Otherwise, they'll still be able to use that slot for roleplay, but not in time for the start of the competition.

Well, if the party is assembled swiftly, you can roleplay preparation and we'll start the fight scene early as these things can take some time to play out.
