If you ever need anything, and Ben isn't around, or if it's something you can't go to him about, you can come to me, and I'll do my best to help. I want you to be happy too. We're about to become family, and family look after eachother."

She looks about the room at the quirky girl she had to drive Ben away from for his own good, to the Lord who brought them all together, to Ben her knight in not so shining armor. We will all be family now.

Politicians will talk of a missed opportunity, and there will be unkind rumours.

But the Maid loves love, and the donation will help the smallfolk.

All will be well. Now, I'm going to have a quick look out for my cousin, Dyana, then we should get started. It would not do to keep the Septon waiting, especially after him generously agreeing to help."

She stood, and wandered over near to the entrance.

She offered Gwyn a warm smile, though her eyes were questioning.

Have you seen Dyana today? I would have thought she would be here by now. I hope she's alright. I don't want to do this without her."

Dyana arrives at the scene just as the girls discuss the defeat of a mystery knight. She blinks at the gathered Marstens, then glances at Ben, and back at Corrine. "

I'm so glad you made it! I was worried! Dyana, will you join us? Ben and I are getting married tonight, and we want the four of you to be our witnesses."

She indicated Dunstan, Gwyn, and Ellie.

she said to Dyana. "
There's a certain Maester of our acquaintance I've managed to locate, who might take a look at him if he likes. Do pass that on."

Dyana is armored and armed, a sword sheated by her side and a dagger strapped to the back of her belt. She looks fine, if a bit weary.

When Gwyn speaks, she almost lets a smile appear, but instead just looks at her sister with a look both quizzical and knowing. "
A maester, eh? Sure will."

At Corrine's words however, she freezes. Her eyes widen. Her mouth gapes open. She looks at Ben again, and then once more to Corrine. In the end, her words almost squeal. "
Wow! Really? Now? Tonight?! I..."
The woman blinks a couple times, glances between the two again, and then at Dunstan, and Gwyn, and Ellie. "
Here? I mean, now?!"

Yes, right now. The Septon is waiting. We just need to figure out who should give me away."

Her green eyes look deeply into her cousin's, confused but willing.

Corrine replies excitedly.

Ben was ushered to stand before the Septon, while Dunstan, Ellie, and Gwyn stood to the side. Corrine walked, arm-in-arm with Dyana, up to the Septon, who spreads his arms wide ceremoniously;

"
Who comes to seek the blessings of The Seven?"
he asks, and looks to Dyana for the response.

[ooc: Reader has granted me autority to pilot the Septon for the ceremony, to make his job easier]

Gwyn looks around, and not seeing Isobel she opens her mouth, abruptly unsure.

she sort of...stage whispers, acknowledging with her voice that it's inappropriate to speak now, but wanting to be heard anyway. "
Uh, sorry, can I just...a word for a moment?"

She gives the septon a big wooden smile at his disapproving glance.

she asks, concerned.

I know she's probably not jumping up and down over you marrying him...but for you to go behind her back and deprive her of getting to see you wed...it's almost a declaration of war. She'll only get to see that once, ever, gods willing."

Dyana smiles apologethically at the Septon as well, and stands arm-in-arm with Corrine, looking at the other two Marstens as they whisper to each other. The discussion does make sense.

I have concerns about her trying to stop us before we can have that. This is just to keep us safe from sabotage."
