Not underestimating her is why I sought your aid,"

Thank you. I love and trust Corrine absolutely, but until Isobel's safely packed off for the sept I am putting nothing past her."
"
Send word when you have anything about Darry...or if you need my aid for anything. I've made very few plans today, so I should be available."
Wise words Gwyn, but do we go with Dirty Dancing....
NOBODY PUT IZZY IN A SEPTRY!
or do we go with the Hamlet style:
Get thee to a Septry?

I know who you are: you're a fishmonger!
Btw Does anyone know what the scenario of the next meetup will be? Or is that classified information?

Too late for any of you to screw with it now, so might as well reveal it. Think some people will have guessed from the questions, in-game events and maybe even my pitch on the old BITW board. Pleased so many of you have forged Blackwood/Bracken links on top of the background stuff we'd all developed.
You'll all be invited by the King and various involved party to execute:
Dance of Dragons II - The King's Justice
Here's the old blurb about it from the BITW board:
"
- my big idea: the aftermath of A Blackwood/Bracken small scale war.
Our nobles houses will be:
- forced to weigh justice against political desires: should they punish the guilty if it costs them an alliance?
- Ride across Bracken and Blackwood lands, interviewing nobles &
smallfolk and picking across ruins for clues on the various atrocities to be punished.
- Lead troops under a royal banner to disperse skirmishers from both sides (a bit of mass combat), or perhaps a group of unpaid/unhappy mercenaries that wouldn't disband.
- Investigate who burned down the Sept/Weirwood.
- Unravel thorny legal problems - if permanent damage is done by salting the earth, who was responsible (damage by the attackers or scorched earth policy by the defenders?). Should reparations be paid to the crown?
- Will they negotiate marriages/hostages to form a lasting peace? Will this make them new friends/enemies?
- etc.
This scenario brings all our PC houses together. The throne appoints Houses as peace keepers to end the combat and determine guilt/reparations (with various PC houses biased by marriage ties/religious faith).
With a sprinkling of mass battle, potential trial by combat and various locations/war ravaged locations to investigate I think we could have a similar scenario to Southron Ambitions/Wedding knight and justifiably involve all the houses (making new friends and enemies), without having to do another wedding/tourney."

Sorry I'm an idiot: SPOILER FROM BOOK ONE.
I like it, especially the justice league angle. Much like Ned Stark setting a hundred and twenty neutral men to judge the mountain against the Darrys.

So, I looked it up, and the blackwoods were for the blacks (go figure) unless some of the PCs has mucked up the situation.

Who knows which way you lot will push the various houses you interact with, by your sweet words, bribes, threats, heroic example, marriage or the simple expedient of taking people hostage.

I'm a bit disappointed that the Gwyn &
Isobel fight didn't erupt, but picking up the pieces of that would have been messy.

It kind of erupted. Things were said.
It could have gone worse, but there's always next time.

Fear not, ego monster - as noted in that post the description is from the old BITW game.
I'll be writing something specific given the nonsense you and Ser Kevan have got in to with the Blackwoods, but you're far from the only one. Ser Jorah has irked the Brackens by championing the Seven against Ser Benjen and many people have background links.
The above all said, everyone is welcome (encouraged) to use their personal story to link in to the Blackwood/Bracken conflict further if they're struggling for ideas or fancy some knightly combat.

Didn't Lord Bracken stand in line to dispatch the furious frey?
Or was it Ser Jorah the merciful he dislikes so?

Lord Bracken's a head-lopper, he's not about dat forgiveness. Further, Lord Bracken had been convinced to stand against Ser Benjen for his own reasons, while he's got Ser Jorah down as a Blackwood sympathiser (Ser Jorah serves a Northern house after-all and can be viewed more as standing for the Blackwoods) who won't kill his foe.

Ser Jorah Holt wrote:Ser Jorah raised an eyebrow at his unexpected guest. They had not had much dealings since the meeting to resolve the potential feud between their houses. Truth to be told, he'd had too much to do to keep track of the knight and little reason.
"
Ser Theomore, an unexpected surprise,"
Jorah greeted him, "
are you here to pray? If so, I will maintain my vigil to one side to give you the peace of the Sept."
Forgive the pun, but from what I've seen Theomore is one who preys rather than one who prays. :;

Theomore's prayers are likely the sort that would curdle a septa's blood.

So, is the Late Morning 'Departure' event an official event we should be keeping clear? Or is that just when people will start leaving?

I think it's just when people start leaving, but you can put farewells in there if you want to talk to someone who isn't staying.

Not an official event. Wishful thinking on the narrator/Lord Tully's part. :;
):
Embers of War is the final official event.
Lots of people ended up staying on for the double wedding and the trial by combat.
As Corrine says, it was originally intended for parting words of friendship/hatred and wistful reminiscing scenes as you gaze at the horizon on horseback.
It was all going to be very filmic. :;

Happily, players happened! I prefer what we ended up with.

That is asking for that which ought to be well deserved rewards for hard effort and years of refining one's charms. Though his prayers could be considered a bit like this:

Though it wouldn't be about some woman he lusts for, that would be metaphorical for something else...like all of Westeros

It's not a great fit then, if it's not about a woman.

I think the most ill-fitting part to the comparison between Theo and Frollo is that Theo knows what side of the line between being virtuous and not he is on...
But I think the line they will serve my needs, or they will burn. might well fit into his prayers.

Regarding the off season activity;
how am I supposed to write it? I feel like it would require the house fortunes rolls first, and knowing when the clan war will fall in the timeline, and how much xp I'll have to work with. It'll also depend on what other people are doing. I feel awfy lost. Would some kind soul help me sort this out? I am willing to share my off-season wishlist if it would help.
