Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
Just try, please, all, to remember that those people do not represent the vast majority of muslim people (I have heard people elsewhere saying horribly racist things). Extremism is a cancer on the world that does not limit itself to a single ideology.

I swore to defend the Constitution that grants freedom of religion, I can care less someones religion.
I still hate them (extremist violent sectarian religious groups)
I served with:
SPC. Saddam, A.- Muslim from Iraq, (EOD) Explosives Ordnance Disposal
SGT. Bhusal, R - Hindu logistics guy hilarious tiny napoleon.
PFC. Ramirez - Mexican Catholic (Beaner jokes all day long...)
PVT. Wlliams - lolz... all I can say regular Christian
SPC. Bryant - Atheist and lolz with the color people jokes (he is african american)
And many more different people, my damn C.O. in training was a Sikh.

Very long wait for me lol, but I learned a new usable trick to play with and other things. Make sure to use with my next character.

That's good about getting a new character, you can much easier make him as you envision.

Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
You know the trick of leaving a shower running to help get creases out of shirts? I was doing that pre ironing them. Then went for a shower. Big mistake.
Hotel staff literally kicked the door off the lock (Island shangrila in HK has normal locks plus old school fob on a chain) while I was in the shower to check where all the smoke was coming from. Three staff looked on as I stood in my towel trying to explain the situation.
Not quite full Frasier style farce as the door is intact beyond the fob, they had a key for the main lock.
If you guys thought the PbP was crazy...

Ill tell you right now, DO NOT cross the street other than the indicated area, or you might get your legs hurt.
No jaywalking...
Edit: HK is for Hong Kong right?

HK is indeed Hong Kong. Sometimes I go with "
hongers"
to wind my family up, who consider me something of a class traitor. :;
):
Have taken a photo of smashed keychain/fob to hopefully pair with a repaired photo tomorrow!

What is a fob?
I am certain is not a military term, so it's probably not what I think.

Everyone jaywalks in HK. Singapore is the no jay walking, no running (makes you look like a thief) Asian City.

I am not, but I have friends and classmates in and from Paris. It is a tragedy, no doubt.

I have a save file for each option.... though to be honest I felt like most choices made in the series were either trivial or immediate game-enders (which of course means you are just asked to choose again).

Lastly I saw Crime Network RPG system and it made me enough curious to buy it (3.99 $ for 3 books in pdf...) seems amazing, but does anyone have any experience with it?

I'm sure it will all come together in the finale. Holy smokes, it comes out tomorrow! Fallout 4 has been a delightful distraction.
Hilarious timing in the game: I'm answering a distress call in a ghoul-ridden city, switching on the radio just as I begin, and what's playing? "
Waltz of the Flowers"
from The Nutcracker. Set the tone perfectly, especially with my VATS kills.

This. I agree so much with you Baelon. I love Telltale games and I dont think that EVERY game MUST be about lots of options defining the game and all that crap, but I hate this game.
I mean, I've enjoyed their Walking Dead series, who leaves a very good amount of important decisions in your hand, AND I love more rigid games they did like Back from the Future, Jurassic Park, Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands. So choice is really not my problem. BUT they've been selling this game was all about choice since the beginning. And it is so poorly writeen! Most of the dialogues are nonsensical, take us to nowhere and it is impossible, completely impossible to have the slightest victory against the computer. In Telltale's GOT we all are stuck between idiotic choices (take the household guard or leave them on the castle?) that have no impact at all in the game (don't matter, they all die anyway), and the outcome is ALWAYS THE SAME. I'm very frustrated by purchasing this game, and I'm really pissed by how bad it is. That scene with Ramsay and your choice of receveing him in the gates or in the hall is the perfect example of how the game treats the player. We lose no matter what we do. Argh.

It's not that you lose, there really is no point on making a choice it ends the same and it forces you to do scenes you would not wanted, why receive him at the gates, if your going to give him a tour few seconds later lol. I received him at the gates to keep him out.

Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
Yeah, it's the illusion of choice. I feel like the final scene from the last episode will have the most effect, but I also have a feeling that the ending will end up the same. (Think Shakespeare)
