Consistent spelling is a relatively modern invention.
Shakespeare signed his name with at least three different spellings.
None of them are how we spell it today.

Re: General Non-game Chat Thread
I'll be available, have no money to do anything, other than what I need to cook the dinner for thanks giving.
Happy Thanksgiving for those that will be very absent
On another news... I think NATO (Turkey) and Russia are having a bad day...

Sigh...
So much of my day has been.
Move cat from my chair to her bed.
Sit in chair and read.
Cat sits on table beside me.
Go make a sandwhich.
Move cat from my chair to her bed.
Sit in chair and eat sandwhich.
Cat sits on table beside me.
Go check the boards.
Move cat from my chair to her bed.
Sit in chair and watch some tv.
Cat sits on table beside me.
Go check for the mail.
Move cat from my chair to her bed.
Sit in chair and read the mail.
Cat sits on table beside me.
Go to the bathroom.
Move cat from my chair to her bed...

Also, this time it's Theo's turn to arrange marriages, though he arguably pushed through Ben&
Corrine (even if that probably was happening anyway), and he sort of has arranged one for himself. He also had a hand (and more) in Kevan's marriage. He doesn't advertise much, though.
Without Theo, Sofia would be happily married to Ser Benjen Frey.
In what way did Theo push through Ben &
Corrine's marriage? Was that what he talked to Isobel about?
When Corrine decided to let Gwyn marry Baelon Theo pulled the "
Marry Ben or Tullison will feel insulted"
-card.
But she was marrying him anyway.

That may be so, but you were in need of a pretext to push it through, no?

Not especially. If she hadn't have been already planning to marry Ben, she'd have offered to find Dunstan a wife as compensation for Gwyn.

No one is so good that the dice cannot doom them... and hubris is an assured downfall, so better to just accept that we will fail from time to time.

Failure can be fun and make a good story! A chance to make a new nemesis/rival, overcome hubris or change a character's view. Cooking up some ideas with Septon on character growth post his botched sleight of hand.

I'm thankful for the tight-knit little group we formed here, for the story and fun we've been able to escape to for the past year or so.

Well said! Has gone surprisingly well for an emergency replacement for the short lived but excellent "
blood in the water"

I agree. I never thought I would be able to say that I have worked on a character for a year. Most of the RPG games I play tend to fizzle after 6 months.

Cheers guys!
Just back from work drinks (rock and roll, back just after 10pm...) so weekend posting will kick in on Saturday. Off work this week, so hopefully lots of time for gaming.
