Or Emma. :;

Hehe. I managed to arrange 2 marriages in the offseason, and helped Kevan with his suit of Sofia Blackwood.

Yeah, though most of the groundwork for Sofia was done by Gwyn and I, and in the end Kevan won her heart on his own.

In hindsight though, it was a mistake - we could have married Wyll Bracken to Sofia to further the peace. Too late now.

Or maybe we can marry Wyll bracken into the Lyras family. Hey Ser Kevan, do you have any available sisters

No sister, unfortunately :;

But a great number of nephews and nieces (a bit young though)
-Bennis Lyras, heir (22 yo, born 102 AL)
-Edrick (twin) (20 yo, born 104 AL)
-Eggon, (twin)(20 yo born 104 AL)
-Edmund (19 yo, born 105 AL)
-Mayra Lyras (13 yo, born 111 AL)
-Lilleth Lyras (11yo): The youngest daughter acts relatively mature for her age, given that she grew up as the second youngest of a large family. She looks forward to become a noble lady and marry a knight, possibly a Lord!
-Bryen Lyras (8 yo, born 116 AL)

13 is perfectly marriageable. Though I don't quite see why marrying Bracken to Lyras would foster peace between Bracken and Blackwood.
Also, this time it's Theo's turn to arrange marriages, though he arguably pushed through Ben&
Corrine (even if that probably was happening anyway), and he sort of has arranged one for himself. He also had a hand (and more) in Kevan's marriage. He doesn't advertise much, though.
Without Theo, Sofia would be happily married to Ser Benjen Frey. :mrgreen:

If you want Bryen properly educated as an archer, hunter, gambler and drinker, feel free to send him my way(not listed in any particular order of priority). We can come up with some stories to rival Dunk and Egg! :;

I'll even let the Septon preach at him from time to time to make sure he learns of the gods and those pesky letters...

I wasn't saying I did it alone. Winning a heart doesn't necessarily make a marriage happen. I'm sure it's unintentional, but your interjection sounds a bit belittling. House Marsten benefitted more from my negotiation with the late Lord Blackwood.

In what way did Theo push through Ben &

Oh, absolutely you sealed the deal. I wasn't intending to be belittling at all - just trying to say that it was a joint effort, not just one person's success. Baelon setting the stage, so to speak, Corrine may have failed. Without Corrine's negotiations, Gwyn &
Baelon's efforts would have been for naught. Just trying to share the spotlight, not steal it.

Getting knockbacks from Vivienne still stings a bit, hehe.

Luecian, how are we supposed to pronounce your character's name? It's been bugging me. Is it "
Loo-shun"
? "
Loosian"
sounds like Lucy with an "
N"
at the end, to be blunt.
Completely related, my character's name doesn't have an "
N"
in it. Arlyn.

I think Kevan needs to visit his nephew :8-):

Lol you are quite correct. for some reason that's just the way I assumed it was, entered it into autocorrect on my phone, and have been stuck with it ever since lol. I promise to fix it in my future posts. (Although it does kinda go along with the forgetful nature that he has. I think I've misfortunes mispronounced Athelstan's, Brenda, and your name with a fair amount of frequency )

And it has even provided some mechanical benefits to House Marsten in this story! Links to NPCs matter.
Lots of people played a part in the Sofia-Kevan marriage, from the obvious Drakeson/Marsten assist to even Ser Theomore in a roundabout way. She was too high status for him were it not for the scandal (and betrothed to another!). I liked the way the plot was very PC driven from an unstable initial setup.

Loo-shun is how it goes in my head, phonetically that might be liberal idk. It's honestly a randomly generated name from a game that I liked and played for awhile. And used here mostly for alliteration with the nickname.

When Corrine decided to let Gwyn marry Baelon Theo pulled the "
Marry Ben or Tullison will feel insulted"
-card.

I imagined it pronounced the same as the real-world name 'Lucian', which varies by region, of course... sometimes "
LOO-shan"
, sometimes "
LOO-see-an"
, and I know a Lucian from Italy who pronounces it "
loo-CHEE-an"

This probably makes the most sense from the spelling, and my own thoughts meshed. Sold and Let it be so!

Right now he signs his name as an L with a squiggly line. That would be an amusing exchange and I bet you could intrigue me into that! :;
):
Bottom Line if it starts with a Loo sound, he will probably respond to it and if he spots a capital L, he'll probably assume its his name correctly or otherwise...
