Actually, my thought was more along the lines that she'd go have a chat with Marei. An honest discussion, which...if she does her job right...would result in Marei making the wise decision not to keep pestering Dunstan. This decision wouldn't be made because of threats though...it would be because it really is what's best for both of them. It would make so much sense, the way Gwyn would explain it you see. Smile

Switch to Combat"
action. Political backstabbing isn't the quickest way to stab in an intrigue.

You don't even have to strike to kill! Punch/slap them (I was going to showcase this via NPCs, but right opportunity hasn't come up).

But seriously, I wouldn't have it any other way - I love CRPGs, but the reactivity is much deeper in a proper RPG.

I expect they probably will...but he'll pay for it in the end. The crown would rather deal with Tully themselves than let everyone see that the Iron Bank can pull these kinds of shenanigans.

Also, why default on a loan when there's a civil war brewing and you might need cash fast? Bad enough to lose access to funding because a vassal was dim, even worse to have the bankers lending to your foes.
