Altogether I think Gwyn is much more mature than Dunstan, who is stubborn and near sighted at times.

@Athelstan, it's not dishonorable to refuse an offer. Other Houses might lend the troops without demanding Wealth but other boons. House Marsten specifically wields influence and prestige, not coin.

Well, the key is that we're not looking for ALL the troops from one House. We're shopping around. For good prices. Which we weren't getting from Longshore.

Honestly, we probably would have gone to a Round 2 of haggling with you, but then there was that whole thing with the heir apparent getting murdered and trial by combat and everything going to hell...and we decided we were better off just sticking with the much more stable partner Houses.
