It didn't, a simple 2hr procedure ended up taking longer do to a herniated disc. My back is pretty much a mess lol 3 fractured ribs 2 bulging discs and 1 herniated, so a simple surgery was not so simple MRI was playing mind games and X-ray only showed cartilage were my fractured ribs were so it made it kind of hard to notice.

Now I know why my back hurts other than my bulging discs.

I was just wondering if any of you thought about following up on Hugo Rivers as a person of interest. He cheated in his tilt against Kevan, my question for Kevan: are you a known black supporter? Did you have any positive relation with House Tullison or any black supporting houses? If the answer to both of those questions is no, then this is a false lead.

I'm glad to hear that. I felt that his character had a lot of potential for developing in very interesting ways.

Assuming that Edmund told Kevan everything he had learned, the question becomes who has Kevan told, and do they have the time, skills, and interest to look into it?

Yes the whole investigation fell flat due to Ed leaving, but if anyone wants to take that up I am sure we can find a way IC.

I dont know, yes Kevan is a black supporter but he was never overly too open ablut it, so I have to believe there have to be other reasons...

It's Jorah's action, but they kind of need to know where the NCs are to determine their actions.

More importantly, he has also informed me that he has been approached by other players who feel that I am acting poorly or rules lawyering to my own benefit. I would ask that if any of you feel this way, you contact me directly with your concerns and state them plainly but in a civil manner. It doesn't matter to me whether you choose to do this via PM or if you start an OOC thread addressed to me.

I feel it is important that you contact me directly, because I can neither defend my actions nor know that they are disruptive if no one tells me, and while I cannot guarantee that I will agree with your assessment, I can guarantee that I am willing to explain myself and to discuss my reasons for saying or doing something. I can also guarantee that I have not and will not act out of malicious intent - I hope anyone with concerns about my behavior will at least accept that as an honest truth.

Just a couple points of clarification: "

is a bit innaccurate, such statements were part of preexisting OOC conversations.
Further, I have not nor will I state who those conversations were with, so no one should feel like they have had private thoughts exposed.

Sorry for the delay. Was unexpectly taken to see Jurassic World. I've placed the NCs, so you can get a better idea of who is where so you can twat them over the head (your Initiative is a bit painful though).

I'll make some rolls and look at the chart to determine which NCs will attack whom, and get their actions up as soon as I can.

About the Grand Ball: would the Princess have guards or attendants that one must approach first, or could she be engaged directly?

There's probably some sort of status roll involved to get an audience, yes.

Royals are likely status 8, possibly 9...memory serving, I think that would mean TN 24 and 28 respectively to be allowed to see them, though the event design implies that if you get high enough number of DoS, you can manage to impress even them.

I mean after I've made successful rolls. I've got 8pts at the Grand Ball, so that's enough to talk to her, but I want to know how to construct my flavour text appropriately.

Uhm, first of all, you need to take into account that you can't spend a DP for +1 DoS directly.

Secondly, I am not sure that this event will let you chat with the princess even with enough points, it might, but you need not necessarily come face to face with her to make an impression. It's something I'd check with reader.

Reader suggested I spend DP to improve a roll. :s
