Welcome to the fun! As for the Marsten's both were quite noble and kind, any uncertainty was based on our small folk hunter's preconceived notions and experiences!

Hm, yes.

So Yves, I was doggedly chasing Dunstan's affections for about a year prior to the beginning of Story 1 (the Tourney), and was staying at your castle during most of that time. The character of Yves as written then did not approve of Gwyn and spent some effort in trying to make sure she knew it.

I expect the shenanigans that took place during the Tourney didn't do much to endear me to her either...though in the end I didn't marry Dunstan, so maybe we're all friends now.

Let's not forget the totally baseless rumor that Gwyn and Baelon had an illicit relation during their time in Mountain's Reach - a rumor that I at least believe was spread by Yve (though perhaps it was spread by Haelis to keep me away from Yve...)

That they are now married should not be taken as evidence that the rumor was true... but of course it would be taken that way.

Now whether anything illicit happened between Baelon and Yve... that is unexplored territory.

I don't recall any mention of the rock that would happen to fall from the battlements while Baelon was directly under it if so was the case, so I don't think so.
