- Investigating only takes a single scene
- Travel time is handwaved to allow for more scenes and fun. I spend enough time with spreadsheets at work (albeit I'll confess my NPC stuff is on a spreadsheet).

One more DoS would have made a big difference for our plucky villain, he had a better than 50% chance of hitting 3 DoS for a thumping 21 damage!

He'd have had a better chance on horseback, but that would have been a fairly rude introduction.
